I think this is a beautiful idea.
Maybe you can have the veil on a hair comb and wear a crown as well. Then you can just take the veil off and leave the crown in place. That way the hairdresser can weave the crown into the hair to make sure it really stays secure all day.
What other accessories do I need?
I have a veil and a garter, what else am I missing?

I think with the right dress that a wedding tiara is beautiful and elegant. I can't remember ever seeing a tacky tiara :-)
