He may be young but his ability to read the crowd which consisted of all ages from different continents, Zach's your DJ. Taking time to chat about our wants as the bride & groom he expertly weaved in some of our personal favs without losing any of the crowd. He was also capable of gently handling those guests with extra enthusiasm (and maybe a few too many wines) for making requests. Our dancefloor pumped all night! Thanks so much Zach & to Melbourne Entertainment too.

We had a 5 piece band at our wedding, including solo acoustic for cocktail hour. They brought so much energy and understood the vibe of the guests, the dance floor was always packed. We received so many compliments on the night as well as in the days after. They are perfect for an all ages crowd playing old clsssics + newer songs as well. Shannon was so helpful from enquiry to the event itself, especially when I was going back and forth on DJ or band, given most the wedding we had been to had been DJ only. I’m so happy we decided on the band because they really bring an energy that can’t be matched. Organisation and everything leading up and on the day was amazing and I could not reccomend them more. Special shout out to Linden and Claire who were our vocalists for the night and were amazing!!

What an absolutely amazing experience, all the way from first contact, to the day itself, to picking up our signs the day after! The whole process was so easy - our planner Jess kept us in the loop at all points, and it was always super clear what the next step was. She encouraged us to make decisions that were true to us, but that would also improve the flow of the day. On the day/night, all the venue staff were spectacular - they hyped us up, they calmed us down, they made sure we were served first, and they were all-round an excellent addition to a brilliant day. We had a lot of guests with dietary requirements/allergies, and they were all safely catered for - nobody got accidentally contaminated, and our vegan and vegetarian guests especially raved about their meals. Well, really, everybody raved about the food - and rightly so, because it was incredible. The only downside was that the wind meant we couldn't get married on the rooftop, but the indoor alternate was stunning, and the weather is hardly their fault! Overall, we 110% reccomend Encore - they are a well-oiled machine, and that expertise is exactly what you need for the biggest day of your life.

The Team at the Crowne Plaza went beyond my expectations. To organising everything and making us feel like royalty, especially after our original venue burnt down. We had two months to get everything sorted. Kai and her team were absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend couples to have their wedding at the plaza.!!

We had both our ceremony and reception at Ballara and it was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The gardens and chapel created such a beautiful setting for the ceremony, and the reception space was just as stunning. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the day. A special thank you to our coordinators, Tanya and Julie, who were both incredible throughout the whole process. They were so organised, helpful, and supportive, making sure every detail was taken care of and that the day flowed perfectly. Their calm and professional approach made a huge difference and gave us so much confidence leading up to the wedding. Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the venue was and how great the food and service were. We’re so grateful to the Ballara team for helping create such a memorable and seamless wedding day for us.

Nick was basically in charge of curating the vibe of the reception and he absolutely nailed it. His acoustic playing during the dinner service was amazing and many of our guests complimented it as well. His rendition of Skinny Love is going to occupy our brain for a long long time. Then of course the DJ portion and dance floor was equally incredible. The floor was never empty and he used the playlist we had provided to make everything flow well. Hiring Nick was definitely a highlight and would absolutely recommend him for weddings and events.
