Yes, but the difference is it's interative. It's not just something that entertains the guests but actually gets them up being social, having a good laugh and a whole lot of fun.
On top of that your family and friends take a home great photo strips as a memento of your special day and you have the photo album with all their crazy antics and a beautiful or funny messages.
Usually, at a wedding there is not much at all to keep the guests occupied, except food, drink and conversation, (maybe music, if they dance) but the booth brings everyone together with fun, laughter and great memories.
The feedback I get is that it's ususally the best part of the reception.

Absolutley. The most important thing at your reception is your guests. You want to make sure they enjoy the night, take home great memories, have a whole lot of fun and even be able to take home a keepsake of your special day and the great time they had. Well a photo booth gives you all that. But not only do they have a keepsake of the fun, the laughs, and the love, but you get to share in all their antics with the photo album full of their photo strips and personal messages to you and your hubby.
We have had so many comments that the best part of weddings is the photo booth.
It's the best part of our job - hearing the laughter and see the fun family and friends are having together.
With our photo booth, the props, the photo album, the photo strips and all the little extras... as we say -

This is a very special day for you and your fiancé and you want to make sure your family and friends have the best time and take home great memories. A photo booth brings your family and friends together with a whole lot of fun and laughter. It's a great source of entertainment that your guests can enjoy and get totally involved with. But, it not only entertains and brings the fun, it provides a great memento for your guests, with the personalised photo strips they keep and yourself, with the photo album they fill with a copy of their strip and their personal message to you. We also supply extra copies on the night for those larger groups so no one misses out on a strip.
So basically, it's for: fun, laughter, relationships, entertainment, memento for your guests, fun memento for the bride and groom.
We have a smile on our face all night seeing the fun and hearing the laughter of everyone totally enjoying themselves and creating such fun memories.
I think if you ask anyone who's been to a wedding with a (good!) booth they will tell you how much they loved the booth, and it's probably one of the best things they will remember of the day.
