No longer do we have bridesmaids or groomsmen but brides attendants and grooms attendants.

My weddings are gender neutral and the language we use has been updated as well

I am happy to send you a kit which will help you plan your wedding day

A wedding attendant is part of your bridal party - the boys, the girls and the kids - and even your dog - if you have your fur-baby in there as well :)

Hi there!  A wedding attendant is an old-fashioned name for a member of your bridal party - namely because they 'attended' to you on your wedding day.  These days, I think sometimes bridesmaids (especially) forget that they are there to do a job on the wedding day as well as look lovely. :-)  It's a good reminder to have a chat with your bridal party and let them know how you'd like them to assist you both on your special day.  I hope this helps.

A wedding attendant is a bridesmaid, groomsman, flower girl or page boy.

A wedding attendant is an expression used in the past largely to describe a member of the bridal party. However, it does not exclusively apply to the bridal party members. Attendants, in the past, assisted the ceremony in churches ( escorting wedding party guests to their seats and other roles) Nowadays, an attendant is anyone you might like to have play a role on your special day and they may perform a number of jobs, either as a bridal party member, doorman, car parking officer, etc....

Wedding attendants are usually your bridesmaid/s or best man/groomsmen.  You do not have to have any attendants at your ceremony but if you choose to do so, their duties would be to assist the bride & groom in getting ready and generally support the couple in preparation for and during the wedding day.  Couples often decide to only have a Matron/Maid of Honour and a Best Man.  However, additional bridesmaids & groomsmen can be included in the bridal party although their support role is usually not as significant.
