You can get married at the registry office and then have a renew of vows ceremony at a later date.
A celebrant cannot marry you if you are alredy married.

The short answer is that you can get married at a registry office and then have a ceremony later as long as it is made very clear to your guests and wittnesses that your ceremony is not a legal wedding because you have already married at the registary office. No legal documents of marriage can be signed at that ceremony.
Absolutely! I have done this just recently where the couple needed to marry pretty quickly but were waiting for family to come from overseas. We did the legal wedding in front of two witnesses and then their marriage ceremony was conducted in front of 100 guests 2 months later. The only difference in the marriage ceremony was that there were no legal paperwork to do or legal speak by the Celebrant. It was a fantastic day!

Hi
No you cannot do both. If you marry first in a registry office and want guests to celebrate your union later, this can be done with a celebrant. You have options eg
a commitment ceremony or in the future renewal of vows ceremony. The celebrant can assist you.

YOu may get married at a registary office and then a have a marriage ceremony that is not legal as you cannot get married twice. So the ceremony can be the same as it would legally without any of the legal words

NO, you can only be married once.
However you can have a renewal of vows at any time after the registry wedding.

Once you get married at the registry office, you cannot get married again.
Although, you can celebrate your marriage later with family and friends by having a renewal of Vows ceremony. But if you have this ceremony, the celebrant must advise your guests that this is not a legal wedding.
You will find that there are plenty of Celebrants who are willing to conduct a very small wedding for you at a lesser price if that is what you are after.
Hi
By getting married in Registry office first that will be considered the legal ceremony
You can then have a commitment ceremony with all your guests but you will not be able to use any of the legal requiremts
Recently I did the legal ceremony and then the couple went to Bali and had their commitment ceremony with their family and friends
Good luck

You can get married at the registry office with just a few guests and later on have a celebration with a larger group of guests but it can't be called a legal wedding but would be a renewal of vows ceremony. A celebrant can perform this ceremony and make it a special celebration for you but it would need to be made clear at the beginning of the ceremony that it is a celebration of what took place a few weeks/months ago when the couple were married.

No because you would be legally married at the registry office but you can have a ceremonial ceremony after.
