Would love some advice! We def want to include our dog in our wedding ceremony! We want him as the ring bearer. Are they are any things to avoid or prepare for in advance? Thanks!
Soul Ceremonies
Hi there!
I've done several ceremonies including funerals where dogs have been present - and at one wedding the dog had the rings in a little barrel attached to their collar :-)
My advice is only to bring well-trained dogs and/or ensure that the designated dog minder on the day is well-equipped to manage the dog.
Some couples prefer to hire a dog walker/sitter so their human guests can relax during the day.
A dog trainer can work with your dog leading up to the day, too, if you really want to ensure things go as smoothly as possible.
