OVERVIEW

As your wedding day is the most important day of your lives, I am committed to making it as perfect as possible. Your ceremony can be serious or light-hearted or a combination of both. Together we can create a ceremony which reflects your wishes and says what you want to say to each other.

Location is no barrier as I am happy to travel to southern, northern and western locations in order to help you have your dream ceremony in the location you want.

Each ceremony I officiate reminds me of the journey that this couple is about to undertake and I feel extremely honoured to have been given the privilege of being able to participate.

About

I've been a marriage Celebrant for 7 years and officiated at many weddings. I have travelled north to Atherton and south as far as Melbourne to marry. I am committed to marriage equality and no two ceremonies I write are the same. I write a ceremony for each couple that is uniquely theirs. I work part time as a Social Worker and enjoy my profession. I have been married to my husband for many years and we have two children and two grandchildren.

Jeanette was our wedding celebrant in August and we are so happy we chose her! She is is super efficient with communication, our wedding was based one townsville however resided in NSW. We were always kept well informed and any questions that we had were replied to within minutes. She is so down to earth and made the whole process completely stress free. Jeanette goes above and beyond for you! Personalised candles were made by her for our ceremony and she took the time to get to know us and the small details of our relationship in order to provide a personalised wedding ceremony, which she did and was absolutely perfect. Jeanette truly cares about each couple and making sure her part in your special day is nothing less then perfect and I couldn’t recommend her enough!!

How do you get a marriage licence?

As Rhyan said the legal requirement in Australia is the completion of the Notice or Intended Marriage at least one month but I earlier that 18 months before the planned ceremony date.

Who's responsible for lifting the bride's veil?

The bride, the brides father as he presents his daughter to her chosen partner or the bride herself. It is usually a preference chosen by the bride.

Who can be our witnesses if we don't know anyone in Australia?
