OVERVIEW
My name is Yvonne Meehan and I perform beautiful, unique and memorable ceremonies. Your Wedding Day is one of the most important days of your life.
Your wedding day should be what you want, as individuals, coming together on this very special day to pledge your love for each other in front of your family and friends.
It may be a large affair with friends and relatives from near and far or, it may be a small intimate affair.
If you feel an elopement is more your style, I can help you with suitable venues and ceremony styles that will make your elopement a romantic and memorable occasion.
You may have chosen one of the beautiful venues in the Blue Mountains or Penrith Valley, Mulgoa, Windsor - all these places are unique and beautiful in their own rite.
Wherever your idyllic place is, I will create a ceremony that reflects your hopes and dreams and the memories that you have created leading up to your wedding day.
My day will be your day. Your ceremony will be the only one I perform on that day so that I am totally focused on you and not rushing off to other commitments.
I am available 7 days a week at whatever time you wish your ceremony to be.
Please call or email me and we can chat about how you would like your wedding day to unfold.

FAQ
I do wedding ceremonies, renewal of vows, same-sex weddings, family joining, christening and baby naming ceremonies.
My services are mainly in Sydney and the surrounding areas such as the beautiful Blue Mountains, Penrith Vally, Mulgoa, and Windsor.
Being a Celebrant is my true passion and I'm lucky enough to work full time doing what I love. I am available 7 days a week at whatever time you wish your ceremony to be. Please call or email me and we can chat about how you would like your wedding day to unfold.
This is one of the first questions couples ask. Your chosen ceremony is personal and it should reflect your own views. The required length of the ceremony is also a personal choice, however, too short a ceremony is not a good idea. An average ceremony will last approximately 15 – 20 minutes. When working out your timing for the day, please allow ½ hour.
- Australian law prohibits persons under the age of 18 to marry without permission from a judge.
- A Notice of Intended Marriage (NIM) form must be submitted to the Celebrant a minimum of one month prior to the wedding. The NIM form will remain active for 18 calendar months from the date of submission – this form can be downloaded here. Couples should make an appointment with a Celebrant to get the form lodged and signatures witnessed. Please note that good professional celebrants get booked out as much as 12 months ahead.
- The following documents must be shown to the Celebrant:-
A Birth Certificate or Passport If you provide only a birth certificate then a driver’s license must also be shown.
- If either of you have been previously married, you must show evidence of how the marriage terminated – eg /Divorce Paper or Death Certificate of a previous Spouse.
- The law requires two witnesses aged 18 years or over must be present at the ceremony.
