FAQ
Yes, you do.
All couples require a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)
It must be completed signed and dated one month prior to the wedding and is valid for 18 months.
Birth Certificate (evidence of date and place of birth)
Passport
Driving licence
Divorce or death certificates of previous partner.
Yes you can, but it would be advisable to get advice and permission from the local council / owner to use area for the ceremony.
The use of a public address (PA) system is your decision. In any open space or enclosed space audibility is an important aspect.
I had someone say to me recently they attended a wedding ceremony outdoors and the celebrant had no PA system and unfortunately, they couldn’t hear anything of the ceremony (such a shame).
As celebrant I would advise the use a PA system, so therefore everyone feels included and involved on the special day.
