Sophisticated, relaxed, fun, or whatever you choose, your wedding ceremony will be everything you hoped for and more.

Your wedding day is about you and I believe my role is to capture the essence of what your celebration is all about, adapting your ideas and story to create a ceremony that is uniquely you!

To ensure your special day is relaxed and seamless, my husband Paul is my much loved 'roadie'. I officiate and he manages the PA system, setup and any other requirements. You get two of us for the price of one and a few laughs as well!

What does your service include?

An initial, obligation-free meeting to listen to your ideas and discuss how we can create a meaningful and unique ceremony together. During this meeting we’ll discuss the process of writing your ceremony.
Access to my resources ( Including extracts from Spiritual, Religious Hindu & Buddhist, Tea Ceremony, Candle Ceremony, Exchanging of Roses, Sand Blending, Flower Ceremony, Jumping The Broom, Aboriginal Ritual Ceremony, Hand fasting, Lover’s Knot Ceremony, Sharing of Wine Ceremonies, Ring Warming and Blended Family Ceremonies).
Rehearsal at the venue (venue permitting) in the days prior to the ceremony, if required.
Presentation copy of ceremony.
A professional quality PA system.
A beautifully dressed signing table and chair

Do you have a PA system?

I provide a professional, portable PA system, signing table and covered chair, feather or gold pen and presentation folder containing your written ceremony. I am also accompanied by my very charming and talented husband, Paul, who facilitates the ceremony by managing sound and set up, enabling me to mingle with and welcome your valued family and friends as they arrive.

Our wedding wasn't extravagant but that's exactly what we wanted. Lana bought with her an amazing sense of professionalism that really eased my nervous mind. Lana and Paul were an absolute pleasure. Down to earth, kind, beautiful people who genuinely were excited about working with us in the lead up to our special day. Lana was a wonderful celebrant - she has such a nice, soothing voice & she paraphrased our questionnaire answers and beautifully narrated our golden moments in the ceremony. Paul was also great, calming the nerves of the bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy before they walked down the aisle. Olly and i thank you both very much! 🙂

How many weddings do you book in per day?

Are celebrants usually doing one per day? or two on some days? How is this possible?! haha

Thanks for the question. I have chosen to book one wedding ceremony per day as I prefer to apply all my effort and energy into helping make a couple's wedding day as fabulous as possible. I understand that some celebrants do multiples in one day successfully, however, I'm happy with one.

It's so very special to take the time and effort to write your own vows. Your celebrant could help you by asking you what you would like to express in the vows and offer you ideas or help on how to put it all together. Create magic!

Generally, when couples book a celebrant how long do they book them for?

Hi Lucy and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I usually arrive between 30 - 60 minutes prior to the ceremony. The ceremony is usually around 30 minutes including signing of the certificates. My fee is inclusive and covers all meetings, rehearsal and email/phone support etc. as required. If you are wondering how soon to book a celebrant for your wedding day, I suggest you chat to few celebrants and when you find one that you feel is right for you, I would go ahead and book.
