Hi, I am in a long distance relationship with someone in the Philippines. We are looking to get married, but in the Philippines, you need to get your parents consent if you are under 21 and she is 19. If we were to get married in Australia, will she still need parental consent? The reason why we don't want her parents consent is because her mother is emotionally abusive, controlling and toxic. She will never consent to us getting married.
Noosa Style Ceremonies
You just need to be both over 18 in Australia - no consent required for 21 and 19 year olds
How can I tell my sister her kids aren't invited to our wedding?
Hi there. We don't want to have kids at our wedding, but I also don't want to offend my sister. I adore my nieces but we want a particular vibe at our wedding. Any suggestions?
Noosa Style Ceremonies
Great question - I'd go with the tried and true method of wanting your sister to celebrate with you guys without the distractions of her children. You want your sister to let her hair down, dance and have fun all night - a night off the kids on this one off special occasion - best for everyone!
Do Celebrants fly/travel to perform destination weddings?
Noosa Style Ceremonies
Hi,
Yep, mostly it won't be a problem - it would be worth it if it's really important to you guys - it depends on how important the ceremony and vibe is to you - Some people just don't care that much - others think it's the most important thing in the world. The right celebrant would be worth the additional cost of flights and accom.
