OVERVIEW
Your wedding is one of the most significant, jubilant and memorable day of your life and your ceremony should truly express how you and your partner feel for one another. It should also reflect who you are and your values, ideals and beliefs.
My aim as a Celebrant is to ensure that each and every one of my couples have the ceremony of their dreams, irrespective of the size. Whether you have a small wedding with just a few close friends or a large one with 250 guests, it is important that the ceremony feels right for you and it’s my job to make sure that is exactly what you get. Every ceremony is just as special to me as it is to you and to know that I am part of your special day makes me feel so privileged.
I am also a great believer in incorporating a little humour into a ceremony. I think that a little laughter helps makes ceremonies light and happy. It not only keeps your guests interested in your wedding but it also helps relax you as a bride or groom and makes it more enjoyable for everyone!
I am confident that you will be very happy with my level of service that I will provide and I look forward to meeting you and discussing your plans and requirements in more detail.
Remember, it's my job to make sure your wedding flows smoothly; it's your job to enjoy the day!

FAQ
No, my PA is fully portable, so no power needed. I also have two speakers on my system for those noisy areas such as the beach. And I have a lapel mic for me and a lapel mic for the groom which also picks up the brides voice so you won’t have a big hand-held mic held up to your face while saying your vows, which will often spoil your photos.
The first of the legal forms is the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). This form needs to be submitted with your Celebrant at least one and no more than eighteen months before your wedding. To help you out with this, I always fill this out for my couples, so there is no need for you to stress over it.
However, you will need to provide me with these original documents for me to sight before your wedding:
I have been a Marriage Celebrant since 2008 and have happily conducted well over 300 weddings.
I like to personalise your ceremony to you by adding in "your story", so I talk about how you and your partner met, who proposed, how, when and any funny little anecdote so the ceremony will be
light and happy!
I also provide a PA system as well so everyone will be able to hear the ceremony. Plus all your music for the service which I will give to you on a cd after the ceremony along with a booklet that contains a copy of your wedding.
I like to have 40% deposit paid at submission of NOIM and the balance to be paid at the rehearsal.
My fees cover everything including:
I also accept EFTPOS or bank transfer to make payments easier for you.

Get Expert AdviceDoes the celebrant have to do the whole "how they met" story?
I feel like that might be awkward for us. We are a super stong and stable couple now, but when we met we still had a lot of growing up to do (we were teenagers, and broke each others hearts.) We had a huge falling out and reconnected later. It was very messy and all of our fam and friends know that. Do we have to go into that when our life is so beautiful NOW, and has been for years now?

Your wedding is all about what you want for your big day so the answer to your question is no, you don’t have to have your story told in your ceremony.
If your celebrant insists on telling your story, then change to a celebrant who is more flexible to your needs and desires. ??
How much should I expect to pay for a celebrant?
And is it cheaper to go for a religious officiant? I'm not fussed about the cost just want to know what to budget for. :)
Robyn Rodda Wedding Celebrant
Celebrant fees range from $400 to $2000. In Melbourne, the average fee would be about $800.
But fees should not be the reason you retain a celebrant, You should look more on how the celebrant works and if you can develove a repore with her/him. You also need to consider location of the celebrant, the availabity and check for good reviews. :)
Any tips on writing vows?
I have no idea where to begin. Are they meant to be promises?
Robyn Rodda Wedding Celebrant
I always suggest to my couples to not sit down to try and write their vows, otherwise they can be contrite and not true to you. I think we all have minds that wonder off every now and again and during these times you may be thinking of what you would like to say to your loved one. That's when you quickly get a pen and paper and jot that idea down, then you can work on it later when you have time.
This may sound a little silly but you will find that your vows will represent you the way you are!
