I am flexible, creative and passionate about the opportunity to help you create your wedding ceremony - one that reflects your style, thoughts and emotions and expresses your love for your soul mate.

Previously a theatre arts teacher and a librarian, I can research, plan and deliver your ceremony professionally. I am warm, friendly and an intent listener. If you have chosen a friend or family member to do a reading, I can coach them to assist with any nerves or voice production.

I will guide you through all legal requirements and officiate for you so that your special day will run smoothly and be one that you both enjoy, stress free. You can depend on my support before, during and after your wedding day. Your privacy is guaranteed and your information confidential.

Being in love is so very special and I welcome the opportunity to celebrate wedding ceremonies for all couples, once the law changes.

My fee is flexible, depending on the complexity of your ceremony, any inclusions you would like and the distance to your chosen venue.

Do couples usually use vow books?

Not usually. One couple I married echoed me for the legal requirements part of the vows, then I handed them a laminate sheet with their personlized vows and they read them from there.

Any tips on writing vows?

I have no idea where to begin. Are they meant to be promises?

Aside from the component that makes your marriage legal under Australian law (I call upon the persons here present to witness that I, <Bride/Groom> take thee <Groom/Bride> to be my lawful wedded <wife/husband>) you Make your vows personal. Add those endearing, quirky touches to your vows that make them uniquely yours. You don't have to make promises but can if you like. My nephew and his wife promised to support each other's football team as their second choice - it got a laugh! They don't have to be so serious but it is always good to put a lot of thought into your vows - it's what makes your ceremony very special in years to come. I have a large selection of vows for you to choose from - or mix and match from several if you want.

I'm not a religious but can I have my marriage ceremony in a church?

It would depend on the church - you would need to approach them to see their response. Usually church weddings are held by clergy for their own community and have a specific order of service. There are a few chapels around that would feel like a church but would still enable your to be married by a celebrant who would collaborate with you to design your own unique ceremony.
