Being a Civil Marriage Celebrant and a MC is both a pleasure and a privilege. The most wonderful part is for me to be able to offer you more freedom to craft a beautiful, special and highly personalised ceremony of your choice instead of adopting a traditional or religious wedding style.
Being married for several years now, and still very much in love with my husband, was one of the reasons why I’ve chosen to become a Civil Marriage Celebrant.

What sets me apart from all the other marriage celebrants out there you may ask? I truly care about both of you and the commitment that you are about to make to each other, and I strive to achieve the same outcome that you desire as much as you do for your big day. I believe that a true wedding ceremony can be modern, fun and lively while maintaining the traditional solemn and binding nature. As an experienced Master of Ceremonies, it is a second nature and easy for me to engage the crowd and make everyone happy. If some years later after your big day when you relive your wonderful ceremony again, I sincerely hope one of the first things that you remember would be how I made you and your guests feel on that special day!

Can a tourist marry in Australia?
hi, i just want to ask if me and my girlfriend can marry in Australia i am a Filipino Citizen and she is a Canadian Citizen. our problem is she cannot provide her birth certificate. we will only be there as a tourist cause i will be coming from Philippines and she will be coming from Canada, we just want to get married legally. is there any other options we can provide besides from Birth Certificate as a requirement to marry and if so what should we do first ? thank you..

Secondly, I have personally conducted several Destination Weddings for overseas couples who came to Australia just to get married, similar to your girlfriend and you, and can advise that the process can be quite simple with the right celebrant.
Echoing what Susan & Rosemary have already advised, anyone can come to Australia and get married, on the proviso that you met all the legal requirement and adhere to the timeline for each of the procedures. I would like to enhance their advice by adding that:
1) If either of you are already in Australia, you can lodge the NOIM with an Australian Civil celebrant first without needing both parties to be present, or
2) if both of you are outside of Australia, either of you can go to the Australian Embassy in your country to get the completed NOIM witnessed and dated, and then contact an Australian celebrant of your choice.

Can you get married in a week?
Hi my names adam and over the past few months ive had to watch my girlsfriends mother gradually deteriorate from cancer and my partner wont have her mum around much longer so what id like to do is give her the ooputunity to see one of her kids walk down the isle its such short notice but its something that i feel needs to happen we hsve been talking about getting married for awhile but the time is perfect can u help ? We are going to mt bawbaw next tuesday but staying in tanjil i want it there?
