I am a approachable, friendly, well-presented (please see photos) empathetic person who is a good listener, who has always had a passion for helping people and the ability to make them feel comfortable and special.

By being your personal marriage celebrant:

-together we can write and create the ceremony just as you would like.

-I complete all the legal paperwork and lodge it with BDM

-provide a PA system so all your guests can hear your cermony

- have a rehearsal so everybody knows what they are doing

--share with you and make sure your ceremony runs smoothly

As an experienced public speaker, ( see my video) I look forward to helping your day be truly wonderful experience.

Your wedding will be one of a kind ceremony that not only both of you will cherish, but all your guests will remember forever.

Dawn was fantastic! From our first meeting she was very organised and lead us through all the formalities of the wedding process but also encouraged us to include wonderful personal touches within the ceremony itself, which on the day were such special moments. Dawn has such a warm and inviting manner but also brought sophistication and class to our ceremony. She was very aware of how to allow the photographer to capture the best moments and it all ran seamlessly. Dawn is a wonderful celebrant who will work with you to make your day as special as it can be. When we first started looking for a celebrant we were set on a male, however, after meeting Dawn our minds were made up that she should be our celebrant. Is it possible to get married at the registry and then have a wedding later?

By getting married in Registry office first that will be considered the legal ceremony

You can then have a commitment ceremony with all your guests but you will not be able to use any of the legal requiremts

Recently I did the legal ceremony and then the couple went to Bali and had their commitment ceremony with their family and friends

When you have decided on your date with a venue Now is the time to contact to find a celebrant Its so important to find the right person to be your celebrant. so looking ealry you can get exactly who will suit you.

Use referrals from others or look on the Easy Weddimgs site to you can find the right celebrant to suit YOUR Day

The realtionship is so important for not only you but your groom as well so he feels comfrotable with your celebrant.

how can we make a mention of same-sex couples and marriage equality in our civil ceremony?

we're not gay ourselves, but our dear friends are and we were wondering if celebrants would be open to making a special mention of it during our ceremony

After reading the Monitum that is a legal requirement you can add as example the following wording

"Bride and Groom bleieve in eqaulity and hope that one day soon marraige will be defined as the union of two people"

I have had many positive responses to this and obne in particluar was with cheers and a round of applasue.
