OVERVIEW
“Kerrie was such a beautiful person from the moment that we met her. She was professional and calm throughout both our first meeting, rehearsal and ceremony and has such a kind and gentle demeanour that you can't not love. Kerrie handled all of our paperwork for us and made sure the entire process ran smoothly from the start. We both absolutely adored having Kerri marry us and could not recommend her highly enough to make anyone else's special day.” - Leesa G.

Highlights of Kerrie Boag Perth Celebrant:
“Kerrie made everything about our day more than special. Even in those final days of lead-up, she was so supportive and more than what we were ever looking for in a celebrant. She was so genuine through the entire process, answered all of our questions promptly and gave us tips and ideas along the way. Our relationship with her definitely won’t stop at our wedding. Thank you so much, Kerrie.” - Ashleigh C.
About
I have two adult kids, who make me proud every day. My husband, Lewis is my Soul mate. Not perfect, but neither am I! Sshhhh ..... Don't let him know that.... Since my marriage to Lewis, I was inspired to become a Celebrant myself. I'm so glad I took the steps to do so, as I love my job. It is a privilege and an honour and one I never take for granted. I am known to be warm, relaxed and well presented, making everyone in the bridal party feel at ease, especially my couple and their fami

Winter and midweek special.
Winter weddings are my favourite by far, yet most couples will not entertain the thought.
Imagine a venue with an open roaring fireplace and all your guests with winter wraps and full suits. Instead of bouquets for your maids, fur hand wraps and lanterns.
It is truly magical and sooooo very romantic.
The advantages to a winter wedding is that most vendors/suppliers will heavily discount their price, as it is usually their quiet time. You do not need to worry about what the weather will be as, no matter what, you will all be cosy, inside with that beautiful romantic fireplace and the sound of the wood crackling in the background. Your guests will dress to kill as they do not need to worry about being too hot or sat in the full sun. You never need a plan B or need to worry about our West Australian, very unpredictable weather that we have been experiencing in recent years.
Book a winter wedding and I will give you $100 off my full fee for a wedding booked in the months of June, July and August.
I also offer a $50 discount for Midweek weddings, no matter what the date.
Best wishes and look forward to meeting you.

Should we have signs at our ceremony to leave the front row vacant for immediate family?
I was thinking maybe this is tacky, but then maybe it's necessary. (Or am I really just overthinking it?) Someone suggested that this is the role of the celebrant - to ensure that it's family in the first row. Is that generally true?
Kerrie Boag Celebrant
I do not beleive it is necessary to have signing on the front rows.
I always discuss with the couple at the rehearsal on who is sitting at the front, if they would like me to escort the Brides Mother to her seat and any other seating requirement, such as a disabled guest.
I would announce this before our Bride makes her entrance and ensure everything is in order. I also ensure there is a bottom on every seat at the ceremony, as it looks awful on your photos if there are numerous empty chairs.
Confusion around roles of matron of honour, maid of honor and who can be a witness with the best man
I have a Maid of Honor who is unmarried and a Matron of Honor who is married. I want my Matron to be a witness along with the Best Man. Even though she is married, can I have her as the Maid instead?
Kerrie Boag Celebrant
It is lovely that you have a Maid and Matron of Honor and you are able to have anyone you wish to be your witness as long as they are plus 18 and can fully understand the legal side to the ceremony. I believe it is really special being a witness and always advise my couple to choose wisely. I ask them to think 20 years down the track. It is nice to think that you have a grandparent or someone very special signature, that may not be with you any longer, on your marriage certificate. Best wishes on your special day. Enjoy every moment of it. Kerrie x
