FAQ
My background as a teacher and theatre director greatly enhances my role as a celebrant. As a teacher, I excel in communication, organization, and adapting to diverse needs, ensuring that every detail is carefully managed and tailored to your preferences. My experience as a theatre director equips me with the skills to coordinate all elements of your ceremony, from timing to setup, ensuring everything happens perfectly and seamlessly. This combination of skills helps me create a polished, engaging, and stress-free experience for you and your guests.
Incorporating children into your ceremony can add a special touch and make the event more meaningful. I have extensive experience ensuring that children are smoothly included and that any important family members are part of the celebration. Whether it's involving them in the ceremony or coordinating their roles, I work to make their participation enjoyable and seamless, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
You can book your celebrant as early as you like, but your first legal form, the Notice of Intended Marriage, must be completed one month prior to the ceremony, and no earlier than 18 months before your wedding. You should consider the time of year that you are booking. Spring and Summer are peak times and are booked out much faster than other dates in the year. Don't leave it too late!
Yes! The legal paperwork is my responsibility.
Depending on how many other ceremonial elements are included, it averages around 30 minutes.
Yes, of course! There are certain legal vows that must be said, but other than that, you can say anything. I supply my couples with suggestions to help them write their own, or they are welcome to use mine.

Get Expert AdviceDo celebrants travel and how far?
Hello. We're considering getting married in the country but are wondering, if we find the celebrant we love, if they generally travel to do weddings. How do they price for that?
What is the maximum number of witnesses for a wedding
Hi everyone! My fiance and I are French from birth but are now both recently Australian citizens. In countries like France or the UK you can have up to 6 witnesses (aged over 18 years old obviously) to be witnesses at your wedding. We were wondering if 2 is the max here in Western Australia or if it is the minimum number. If 2 is the minimum for the number of witnesses what would be the maximum number?
TK Celebrancy
Hello
You are required by law in Australia to have a maximum of 2 witnesses over 18
Any others that you would like to be involved in the service can do things like readings, poems, rings etc.
Kind regards
Tracey Kriz
Would like a family friend to conduct our ceremony how do we do this?
TK Celebrancy
Hello
Yes you can have a friend conduct the ceremony as long as you have a celebrant to register the paperwork
Also the celebrant must do the official vows and quote the monitum at the service, everything else can be done by the friend
Go well
Kind regards
Tracey Kriz
