Dear Adrien and Mel, Gosh your beach wedding was terrific. Loved the fact that you didn't mind that people were walking past in their swimmers or stopped to watch the wedding. You both were in the moment and your wedding party looked fabulous. The wind was an interesting element on the day but it didn't phase any of us and loved the sand under foot in this barefoot wedding in Elwood. Wishing you both a wonderful life together full of happy times together. Please let me know how you are going. All the very best, Petra x

wondering if there are any other ways to describe each other in our ceremony other than life partner, or husband and wife?

Mr & Mrs ...or Mrs and Mrs .... or Mr and Mr ... or simply their names. It really depends on how the couple would like to be introduced.
There are so many choices for a celebrant... How can we narrow down and pick one for us?
We are having just a small wedding - 20 guests. It will be a simple ceremony followed by the reception. We don't want to spend too much, but would like a celebrant who can make the short amount of time special.

What is the maximum number of witnesses for a wedding
Hi everyone! My fiance and I are French from birth but are now both recently Australian citizens. In countries like France or the UK you can have up to 6 witnesses (aged over 18 years old obviously) to be witnesses at your wedding. We were wondering if 2 is the max here in Western Australia or if it is the minimum number. If 2 is the minimum for the number of witnesses what would be the maximum number?
PH Celebrants
Hi firstly congratulations on your forthcoming wedding and of becoming Australian Citizens.
I love skiing in France and will be back there next year skiing in the Portes du Soleil in Les Gets, one of my favourite ski places in the Savoire.
Now to answer your question, here in Australia by law you must have two witnesses over the age of 18. If you would like to talk to me about your wedding plans do please reach out to me and I would be delighted to chat to you about your wedding and offer my advice. Do check out my reviews on Easy Weddings and on Google (PH Celebrants).
Wishing you both all the very best,
Petra
