As a newly registered marriage celebrant, I am currently building my portfolio whilst also still working as a Registered Nurse! This means I can offer my services at a more accessible price whilst preserving the highest quality. Please rest assured that my current low prices do not mean that you'll be skimping on professionalism, warmth, or attention to detail. I come to you with over 15 years of experience in communication, public speaking, and working with people in significant life moments.
Once my portfolio grows, my prices will be adjusted. So consider this your special opportunity to have a bespoke, heartfelt ceremony at exceptional value.

While I am indeed a newly registered marriage celebrant, I have a wealth of colourful life experience! My professional background in nursing and psychology means I am highly skilled in communication, public speaking, and staying calm under pressure. I've worked in management roles across my career and am skilled in public presentations, so I know how to create meaningful, engaging, warm and seamless experiences.
Having worked with diverse humans across the rainbow spectrum of humanity, I am also able to empathise and relate well to others which is super important in being able to create bespoke ceremonies that reflect the beautiful couples I work with.
I am a Commonwealth Registered Marriage Celebrant with the Attorney General Department of Queensland. To attain this registration, I have completed the necessary training to legally and professionally officiate weddings- YIPEEE!
Additionally, I hold Honours qualifications in Psychology and have over 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including leadership and public speaking roles. My background means I am an excellent communicator, highly organised, and dedicated to creating a calm and meaningful experience for you and your love!
My business name "Bespoke by Becky" didn't just arise due to my love of alliteration (don't worry, I will not litter your ceremony with alliteration.. unless that's what you want!).. I chose that name because I wanted to craft ceremonies that are truly bespoke and reflective of each of the wonderful couples that I am honoured to work with!
Your special day should be a reflection of your unique love story, and that’s exactly what I create. My wedding packages are more like "storybooks" awaiting your personal touch, and each one is completely unique. I work closely with you to ensure every detail aligns with your vision, values, and personality. From crafting personalised vows to incorporating meaningful rituals or traditions, I make sure your ceremony is infused with the essence of YOU!
OF COURSE!! In fact, I whole-heartedly encourage my couples to write their own vows as they are one of the most very special parts of your ceremony. However, if you need feedback or guidance, I provide my couples with example templates that they can use and I am more than happy to provide my assistance to help you refine them so they express your love and commitment in a way that feels natural for you.
If they're coming from you and your heart, they are completely perfect. In fact, the most heartfelt vows are rarely polished, they portray each individual's personality and character- which is exactly what your partner wants!
I totally understand that not everyone finds it easy to put their emotions into words, and that’s where I am more than happy to assist you. I can provide guidance, structure, and examples to help you create vows that feel natural and meaningful. If you’d rather express your love in a different way, we can explore alternative options that suit you both.

Easy peasy!
Firstly, don't be shy! Reach out to me in whatever format is most comfortable for you (via enquiry form, phone call, SMS, email etc.) letting me know the date and time of your wedding, and I'll get back to you within 24 hours.
If I am available for your wedding date, I will tentatively hold your date in my calendar and offer you a complimentary, casual and obligation-free in-person or online chat. This is important so that you can check my "vibe" to make sure I am the right fit for your special day, it also gives you the chance to ask me any questions!
If all goes well and you feel like I'm the celebrant for you, I do ask that you confirm your booking within 72 hours with a non-refundable booking deposit, then your wedding date is locked and secured in my calendar and I will be there with bells on!! If I do not hear from you within this timeframe, your date will no longer be held within my calendar.
An advantage of having a celebrant who also happens to be a nurse is that I am super organised and I’ll guide you through the legal requirements so you do not need to worry about any of that. And of course, the crafting of your ceremony fun begins!
Legally, you’ll need to complete a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) at least one month before your wedding. I will help you with this paperwork and ensure everything is lodged correctly. If this is not your first time getting married, you'll need to provide me with official documentation confirming the legal dissolution of any previous marriage/s.
After the ceremony, I’ll also submit the necessary documents to officially register your marriage. I make the legal side of things as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Yes! I am delighted to travel to your wedding location. Travel within a 20km radius of Brisbane is included in all of my wedding packages, but if your wedding is further afield, there may be an additional travel fee. Just reach out, and we can discuss the details.
Eeeep! Having gotten married myself on the tail end of the COVID-19 pandemic with erratic lockdowns, this was definitely something that I worried could happen with our own celebrant!
However, please rest assured that I am 100% committed to my couples and understand the importance of being there on your special day.
In the very unlikely event that I am too unwell to officiate, I have an extensive and responsive network of celebrants I can call on at any time to step in and ensure your wedding goes ahead smoothly. I will do everything possible to ensure a seamless transition so you can still have a beautiful ceremony!
Totally! Remember, I am an Inclusive Celebrant. I welcome all beliefs and traditions. I can work with you to create a ceremony which incorporates religious, spiritual or cultural rituals.
I am an active member of the LGBTQ+ community and I know firsthand what it's like to experience prejudice or sub-par treatment. Unfortunately, this can still happen within the wedding industry and that is not okay with me.
Love is love, and what makes it so beautiful is the diverse ways in which it expresses itself! Everyone (regardless of age, race, gender identity, sexuality, background etc.) deserves a ceremony that celebrates the authenticity of their love! As an Inclusive Celebrant, I am here to support and hold space for you, and celebrate your gorgeous love story! YAY!
I currently only book one wedding per day. This is to balance my work as a Registered Nurse, but most importantly, to ensure I can give my undivided attention, energy, and care to craft your ceremony. Your wedding is my priority, and I’ll be there to support you every step of the way!
