Are you available to travel for weddings?
Absolutely! Ebony is based on the Mornington Peninsula and will happily travel further afield for any ceremony. Should the wedding location be a far distance away, a small travel fee may be added to the cost of your ceremony package.
What equipment do you provide on the wedding day?
Ebony will bring her own equipment to your ceremony, including a PA system, speaker, and wireless microphones.

I'm a friendly, fun and down to earth Marriage Celebrant living on the Mornington Peninsula. My interests (other than weddings!) include travel, fitness, food and wine. I'm an incredibly social person, who loves meeting new people and listening to their love stories! When I'm not marrying lovers all over Victoria, you may find me hanging out with my husband and two young daughters at a local cafe, winery or beach on the Mornington Peninsula.

The first meeting is very casual! It is an opportunity to see if we 'click' and if I am the right Celebrant for you. Over a coffee (or wine!), we will discuss the wedding process and details of your special day. There is no pressure to book me on the spot (but feel free if you want to!); you need to be happy with your choice. You may want to meet some others to compare.
Once your booking is complete, you will need to fill in a Notice of Intended Marriage. It needs to be filled in no earlier than 18 months and no later than one month before the date of the marriage. Then a week or two out from the wedding (most likely at the rehearsal), you will fill in a Declaration of No Legal Impediment. On the day of the wedding, you will each sign three marriage certificates; including your witnesses and myself. One marriage certificate will be kept as a record/keepsake and the rest of the paperwork will be sent to Births, Deaths and Marriages.
Typically a ceremony will run for 20-30 minutes, depending on how many other elements you would like included. These could be readings, poems, rituals, etc. It can be casual, romantic, humorous - the style and length is completely up to you!
I will need to sight an original birth certificate or passport if you were born in Australia. I will also need to sight a driver's licence or keypass to prove your place of residence. If born outside of Australia, an overseas passport will be required. This is to prove your date and place of birth, as well as photo identification.
I will need to sight the certificate of divorce, decree absolute or overseas issued equivalent.
I will need to sight the death certificate and if you have changed your name, I will also need to sight the official 'change of name' document.
Yes, I offer a rehearsal and am flexible should this need to take place at the venue, over the phone or via Facetime/Skype.
Yes. To lock in the booking, there is a small deposit to be paid, as well as a terms and conditions form to complete.
You can if you wish! It can make the vows more personalised and fun. Or I will happily create something for you if you prefer.
Yes! I am happy to travel for any ceremony. Should the ceremony be a long distance away, a small travel fee may be required.
Other than weddings, I also offer vow renewals, elopements, 'legals only', baby naming days and funerals.
