About
Welcome to my Story. I am fairly new to being a Civil Celebrant. I started thinking about becoming a Celebrant a couple of years ago. I have been a flight attendant for nearly 16 years and soon my flying days will be over, and I thought this would be a lovely transition. So here I am. I live on the Mornington Peninsula with my partner, Leo. I have two beautiful children Danielle and Lee who are married to Andrew and Nicole, and three beautiful grandchildren, Noah, Indiana and Blaize

FAQ
By Law you can book me no longer than 18 months in advance and no earlier than 1 month before the wedding.
You absoloutely can. There is some wording that you must include by law.
Those words are as follows: I call upon the persons here present to witness that I, A.B. (or C.D.), take thee, C.D. (or A.B.), to be my lawful wedded wife (or husband, or spouse).
I would normally arrive around 1 hour before the ceremony to set up. Ensure the groom has arrived, wait for the bride to arrive and make sure she is ok and ready.
The ceremony would normally start as follows:
*Welcome & Introduction
*Presentation of the bride
*Reading
*The Monitum
*The asking
*Vows
*Exchange of Rings
*Reading - if needed
*Declaration
*Signing of the Register
*Introducation of the new Mr. & Mrs.
I certainly do provide a signing table and PA.
I have a lovely garden overlooking the beach, you are more than welcome to get married in my garden.
I am able to ask some lovely friends to be your witnesses for your day.

My view would be a marriage lasts for a lifetime. A wedding a few hours of fun and laughter with your family and friends.
Eloping without witnesses?
My partner and I are thinking of eloping but just with our children and no witnesses. Is this possible?

Hello to you both, How wonderful just the family.
But sorry to say the Marriage Act states that you must have 2 witnesses to witness your nuptials.
They must be over the age of 18 and be present to hear you say your vows to one another, and sign the paperwork.
I have done an elopement before just with my sister and partner being the witnesses. It was very beautiful and special.
