Hi, my name is Jacklyn Cimino, and welcome to All About Love Celebrants. Do you want a private, simple wedding, without all the bells and whistles (not to mention costs) that go with such an elaborate occasion? If so, we have the perfect solution for you.
Let me give you 4 steps to get married:
1. Send through an inquiry
2. Meet up for a coffee and chat ( I'm happy to come to you). I will give you a booklet with ideas and suggestions in it, and you can ask me as many questions as you like. If you decide that you would like me to do your wedding, then...
3. Book me in! I will then go away and construct your beautiful ceremony and begin the process with the required legal paperwork.
4. You get married! On your big day, I will bring a PA system that goes anywhere and, if you need one, a signing table. While you're on your honeymoon I will take care of all the legal paperwork.
It's that simple, and just begins with a conversation. I look forward to speaking with you!

Hello, We're getting married in Northcote on the 17th of September, 2023. We're having a small wedding of around 50-55 guests and we're after a simple ceremony of under $500.
What wedding traditions are people still having?
What are the main wedding traditions that most couples still have at their weddings? Have you seen any fall out of favour?

Do I have my future father in law walk me down the aisle?
Unsure what category to put this under. I don't speak to my family at all and have always said I want to walk down the aisle on my own. I've had pressure from my future mother in law and other extended members of my fiances family that I should have him. Comments like "surely you would have xxxx walk you". He's a lovely man but there's a lot I disagree with his alcoholism and priorities and he has also made comments that he thinks I'll ask him. What can I do? Advice? Please ??

i feel that if you were very close to your future father in law, then it would feel right for you.....but the whole concept of been given away is about leaving the home of one family and embracing another family.... your father is traditionally supposed to walk you down the aisle, protecting and safeguarding you, until you reach the safety of your husband to be...then you are his responsibility to protect....
that is tradition.......there are lots of variations to this in todays world...eg. your son, brother, step dad or even your mum can walk you , but if they are not available, or you dont feel particularily close to them, then future father in law may be an option ...
