I have been a professional celebrant since March 2009 and conducted nearly 1000 weddings......all fantastic, and all different. I am not expensive, in fact couples comment on how much I do for them, there are so many ways I help you have an amazing wedding. My fee range for an amazing wedding is $1500-$1750. David made our wedding day perfect. Guests approached us all night and said it sounded like he had known us for years, when in reality he's just that good at his job. The ceremony length was just right, and the crowd were in a constant state of tears and laughter.

Can a person with student/travel visa gets married in Australia?

During my trip to Melbourne, my partner proposed to me and we are planning to get married in Australia. However, he is holding a student visa while I'm traveling on a tourist visa. Please advice, thanks :)

Professional Ceremonies - David Schneider

There is absolutely no problem with you being married in Australia. As long as you have given the required one month's waiting notice and waiting period then you are fine to be married. Your celebrant will help you with the required legal work, but remember, without the one months waiting period, which commences when the celebrant gets your Notice of Intended Marriage form, you will not be married.
