FAQ
Yes! Haha! Of course. By describing my style as relaxed I mean not stiff and uncomfortable. Lots of laughs and a bit of fun engaging with the guests.
Yes I do. I travel up to 50kms from my home in Coburg for free.
Beyond this there is a travel fee of 0.50c per km. This applies to to and fro journeys and is pretty standard.
If the wedding is a long way from home (>2 hours) and in the late afternoon you will also be required to pay overnight accomodation.
Oh course! That's what I do! You'll be provided with a resource pack full of bright ideas- readings, songs, vow examples etc when you book. I will guide you and make suggestions based on your loose ideas. I'll be beside you the entire way. And we'll make it awesome!
Haha- as soon as possible! Good celebrants are booked a year ahead, sometimes more! We tend to be left till after all the other things are booked in which means you may not have a choice of the best in show. There's no wedding without us!
Ahem! Yes! And not just because I am a celebrant either. The ceremony is the prelude to the party post and a good celebrant will create the right mood and vibe to carry on.
It's usually not until someone sees a great celebrant in action that they appreciate the value.
A great celebrant is warm, engaging, funny, creative, a good story teller, and employs just the right amount of humour and tenderness where it's required. There will be a few happy tears and a lot of smiley faces and laughter.
The ceremony should never be just something you endure to get to the party afterwards.
Choose wisely. As with everything in life, you get what you pay for.

My partner and I are thinking of eloping but just with our children and no witnesses. Is this possible?
Nat Sproal Celebrant
By law you must have two witnesses 18 years or over. Many celebrants can arrange this or you can just grab a couple of random people who are nearby to witness
can marriage celebrants perform religious ceremonies?
Nat Sproal Celebrant
No, no per se. This is why there is the option of civil celebrants- for those who don't want to go the church/ minster route.
I have however, incorporated a religious reading, hymn or ritual into ceremonies at the couple's request. I don't read them myself though as I'm not religious myself- I leave it to someone that the couple nominate.
Hope this helps!

It depends! If they've seen a banging ceremony in the last year themselves they want that. More and more couples are understanding that wedding ceremonies can and should be fun, joyful and heavy on all the feels. A great ceremony where the celebrant really gets to know the couple and connects with their guests will be as good as the party afterwards.
