OVERVIEW
Hi,
2020. January and February have rushed by, - beautifully I might add. They have been filled with the warm summer days, sadly marred by the horrible fires, but most couples have been able to see their wedding day blossom and have memories to hold forever.
I suspect you might be planning for your wedding. What an amazing day lies ahead for you - a day to have and hold, to celebrate and delight in. It will be a day which will never come again and in designing your ceremony with you, and being there for you, I will ensure you can relax and cherish every moment of the day.
I am privileged to celebrate such beautiful occasions such as weddings and re-commitments.
I do my utmost to:
* work with you in desighing a unique and beautiful ceremony
* create memorable and meaningful moments within your ceremony.
* conduct your ceremony with dedication and warmth and light-heartedness.
* ensure your ceremony reflects the joy and delight of your relationship.
I have a wide range of resources to assist you. I can provide advice if needed, and be as creative as you wish. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time for a chat.

Good morning, Celebrants are legally obligated to provide information via leaflets, to the couple who are to be married. They do not need to ask the couple if they intend to enrol in a course, however it is important to let the couple know that such courses are available. Religious celebrations e.g. in the Catholic Church - usually request that couples attend a course run locally to them. Some couples enjoy these courses immensely. Civil Celebrants are not obligated to recommend a particular course.

How much should I expect to pay for a celebrant?
And is it cheaper to go for a religious officiant? I'm not fussed about the cost just want to know what to budget for. :)

Happy Monday. There is no set payment for a Celebrant to charge for their services, and there is a wide range of charges. Travel costs for a particular celebrant can up the cost - for example a Melbourne Celebrant who needs to travel to Lorne. But if you love the Celebrant then you will need to pay the extra. In my expereice Celebrant chages range from $300 to $1500. Remember however, that a higherr charge does not necessarily mean a better celebrant. There are some wonderful celebrants who charge around $600 and will even include travel. Good luck in your choice. Maureena
Can I get married in both a religious and civil ceremony?
My fiance is muslim and I am catholic, we want to respect the mother and have a 'Katb al kitab' but this happens on a different day to the reception. On the day of the reception we want to have a civil ceremony, please help. Need some advice. Thank you

Hello. No unfortunaltewy you can only be married once, however I have performed some beautiful ceremonies where a Priest and Celebrant work together to perform the ceremony. Many Civill Celebrants are willing to include prayers and blessings in their ceremonies, and to respect and include cultural aspects of a couple who wish for a more spiritual ceremony. best wishes.
