If you're engaged, my congratulations to you both - what a wonderful and happy time in your lives. Enjoy every day of your engagement before the big day of your wedding arrives. My name is Janet Hussey and I am privileged to have the best "job" in the world. I am an authorised marriage celebrant, and I live and work in and around Melbourne and Victoria.

I have a deep commitment to making your ceremony a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable occasion. As an authorised celebrant, I celebrate life at all of its stages, but the most important thing is how I do it.

The first question I ask is, “What do you want for your ceremony?” I take genuine pride in conducting quality ceremonies in a natural way, with sensitivity and attention to detail. Your ceremony will be individually researched and prepared to your unique circumstances.

Janet was absolutely wonderful. From our first meeting to the end of the ceremony, Janet was always so bright bubbly, and extremely professional. Could not have asked for a better celebrant, who also married my sister 6 years ago to the day.

Very professional, friendly and helpful. Many people commented on how beautiful and personal the ceremony was. And best of all she doesn't not stand behind you for the entire ceremony so she doesn't end up in all your photos! A lovely, down to earth celebrant who know her stuff.
