FAQ

As your Celebrant I need to receive the Notice Of Intended Marriage (NOIM), at least one month before your wedding and is valid for up to 18 months from your signing.

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection will require that you complete a Notice Of Intended Marriage (NOIM) accompanied by a Letter of Evidence from your Celebrant setting out the details of your intended marriage in Australia.Always check with your Migration Agent, or Solicitor for more specific information.

Original Birth Certificates, or a Passport which is current, can be expired, but not cancelled and another form of photo ID for both parties.

If iether of you were married previously I need to see evidence of your divorce, or a Death Certificate.

All documents you present to me need to be in English, if not you need to have them translated and certified by a qualified interpreter.

My fees are on a par with other Celebrants and aline with industry best practice. I am very happy to make further clarification over the phone, or by email.

You certainly can , you and your guests can dress as you wish according to your theme and I do my best to do the same. As long as we include all the legal wording requirements you can dress as you like.

Of course they can, this can be discussed when we meet as to how they can participate.

Yes they do as long as they include the required legal wording, and I always provide some examples and guidence.

Usually 3 - 4 pieces of music of your choice can be played during the ceremony at specific times: arrival, entry, signing of documents, and at the end as the couple are leaving and being congratulated by friends and family. The music is downloaded and played on my state of the art PA system which caters for 50 - 200 + people .

You sign the way that you usually do. You have to sign the Marriage Certificate before you can be considered  legally married and eligible for a change of name.

It all depends on the number of Readings, pieces of music played, if you include any rituals , such as the Sand, Candle, or Wine rituals, however 20 -35 minutes tends to see us through and cover all bases.

Enzo has been absolutely brilliant from the very beginning. We had to postpone the wedding twice due to the international border closures, and Enzo was able to accommodate our requests. He also suggested a script/plan for the wedding ceremony and guided us through the whole process. I highly recommend Enzo as a celebrant!

It was a pleasure to deal with you both. It took a while to get everyone together with postponements, travel from overseas, and so on, but it all worked out beautifully in the end.

Enzo is a warm and friendly person who was very accommodating to our needs and requests. He has a very calm nature and comes highly recommended. Thanks for everything Enzo!

Thank you Ange and Carl for choosing me as your Celebrant. Your ceremony was a little different, very novel with your ex-high school teacher and friend participating in the proceedings , reciting some of the words along the way , with me officiating the legally required parts, it was a beautiful ceremony held in the gardens of your parents farm, I will remember it fondly.

Enzo was an exceptional marriage celebrant, with kindness and care to ensure the occasion was memorable and also without stress.

I remember that day well, at your Grandparents home set amongst our Australian unique bushland under a sunny sky, you couldn't have asked for a better day or setting to have presented your ceremony in front of your friends and family, thank you for choosing me as your Celebrant to be part of it.

My wedding is next week and the nerves are creeping up! Any tips?

I'm getting married next week and I am getting SO nervous. My brain keeps going to worst case scenarios and I can't get my head right - what is the weather is shit, what if my dress isn't as nice as I thought, what if something goes wrong, what if the cake gets smooshed on delivery, what if the speeches are embarrassing, what if my pre-wedding tan is the wrong colour... I AM SPI-RAL-LING (to say the least). I've not really talked to my fiancé too much about it because I don't want to stress him out. I think it's just because of the time between having everything planned and now the day is finally around the corner I'm just reaaaally anxious! I'd love some tips to calm my nerves - I want to be excited, not one bad thought away from a panic attack! Thanks so much xxxx

Heritage Celebrancy Services

Hi, Yes, nerves are the mortal enemy of Brides and Grooms, sometimes one , sometimes both, best to think about the best things of your day and not the things that might go wrong. Its the best day of your lives, enjoy and have fun, there has never been a wedding where everything is perfect

100%, but let me tell you no one will notice, everyone will be emersed and enjoying the day along side you.

Emma

I am a terrible public speaker. How can I get ready for my wedding ceremony?

Hi there. Was hoping for some advice on how to tackle ceremony nerves so I can get through my vows. I really want to write my own vows but have always been terrible at speaking in front of crowds. What can I do ahead of time and on the day?

Heritage Celebrancy Services

Most couples that I have deaalt with who want to write their own vows I have advised to keep it sincere, but also short and sweet, for as much as you love your partner and you want to show that in the words that you recite, people don't want you to go on and on about it, so  write a short paragraph, not a manuscript. And when it comes time to recite your vows I can hand you a small cue card that you can read from and to help the nerves practice reading your vows out aloud to yourself to become familiar with them, practice makes perfect.

How can I pay tribute at my wedding to my dad who's no longer with us?

Dad passed away 12 months ago. Would love some ideas how I can still include him somehow.

Heritage Celebrancy Services

As a tribute to make your Dad inclusive in your ceremony you could use some of his favourite flowers in your bouqet, display some photos of him, light a candle, dedicate a dance, or when making the toasts you could incorporate his favourite drop.
