FAQ
When planning a wedding (no matter the size), generally after you've locked in a date with a venue, securing a celebrant is the next step. Celebrants can already have bookings 6-18 months in advance. 6 months is a comfortable time to start building a ceremony. Remembering also that the Notice of Intent to Marry must be submitted a minimum 1 month before the big day.
Witnesses can be any 2 people that are 18 years or older. Witnesses simply sign the registry at the conclusion of the spoken part of the ceremony, prior to the announcement or introduction of the couple as newlyweds and an aisle recession. Choosing family or friends is often a nice way to include others that are perhaps not in the bridal party but that you would like to have a small part in your ceremony. Alternatively it’s most common for the Maid of Honour and Best Man to be witnesses. But it’s entirely up to you.
You have several options:
Standard celebrant service includes up to 3 in-person meetings, unlimited contact (phone or email) as well as a free 30min initial consultation to see if we all vibe, PA system if required, on site rehearsal 48-24 hours before and submission of all paperwork.
Elopement (legal bits only) service includes 1 in-person meeting, unlimited contact (phone or email), as well as a free 30min initial consultation to see if we all vibe, submission of all paperwork. A short ceremony with a gathering of up to 10 people.
Premium celebrant and ceremony package includes in addition to the standard service, 2 more in-person meetings if required, and any of the following: staging and styling of ceremony site (backdrop, archway, aisle markers, decor), inclusion of a custom or ritual like a unity candle lighting or dove release, live music, signing table, petal tossing and supplier referrals. Price upon consultation
In addition to being your celebrant, other services include reception MC, first dance teacher and on-the-day coordinator - this is often a great way to ensure everything beyond the words spoken runs smoothly.

Absolutely! You can write as much of it as you like. There are a couple of things that legally need to be said to deem the marriage officially solemnised but otherwise it’s your ceremony. I have sample scripts of poetic words, readings, vow examples and plenty of resources for you to utilise and help structure your ceremony. I’m here to guide you through the creative process or am happy to write something for you with your approval.
