FAQ
Certainly! I'm very happy to meet informally over a coffee or drink. You can gain my vibe and be sure that I am the right fit for you.
Yes. Travel up to an hour from my home in Williamstown is included. Any travel over an hour will be calculated at a per kilometer rate.
Definitely. I ensure we discuss and complete the Notice Of Intention to Marry (NOIM) at least one month prior to your wedding day, the Declaration Of No Legal Impediment to Marry (DONLIM), and certificates on the day to ensure you are legally married according to the requirements of the Australian Marriage Act. In addition to this, I lodge your paperwork with the relevant Births, Deaths & Marriages authority and order your legal marriage certificate to be mailed to you so it is one less job on your “to do list.”
If a rehearsal is something that you would like to do, then by all means we can certainly arrange one. Some couples like to do this, others prefer to let it unfold organically on the day. I’m happy either way.
Professional, authentic, inclusive, knowledgeable & attentive.
A couple who are freely and volunterily wanting to marry, two witnesses at least 18 years of age and a registered celebrant.
There is a breif paragraph called the "Monitum" which the Commonwealth registered celebrant legally must say. It essentially explains the celebrants legal authority to conduct the marriage as well as the definition of marriage according to Australian law.
Certificates must be signed and witnessed.
Other than the above, you can have as much or as little as you wish. So if there is something you particulary want or do not want, I'm very happy to work with you to make it happen. Nothing is off the table, if it's legal, let's do it!

Get Expert AdviceOfficate a wedding
Hi There, I have a general question. My best friend is getting married in 15 months and the couple asked if I could officiate. Now, I was honoured but looking at it in a practical sense, I have reservations. eg the course, costs and ongoing registration. Let alone the nerves about doing this right, without messing it up. Besides this isn't going to be a side career going forward. However, I'm keen to make it happen in some fashion or another. What is the bare minimum officiate input from a celebrant? Can myself and family to bulk of the vows and readings etc? Any advice would be helpful. Regards Angelo
Can a Celebrant from NZ legally marry you in Australia?
My partner and I live in Australia but I originate from NZ. I want my pastor to officiate our wedding and wanted to know if we can get married over here in Australia if he is our celebrant?
Celebrant With Ink
To legally marry a couple in Australia, the celebrant must be registered with the Australian Attorney General's Dept.

Hello
The easiest way around this is to engage the services of a registered Commonwealth celebrant such as myself to do the legals only part of the ceremony, around 10 minutes. The rest of the ceremony could be conducted by yourself and any number of friends or family members. If you require any further assistance or have any other questions; please email or txt me.
