FAQ

I look after the legalities, write your ceremony after getting to know you, and thoroughly plan your wedding day, rehearsal included. Once the ceremony is performed, I ensure that all your certificates are completed.

Yes, absolutely. If you need guidance, I’m with you every step of the way.

Ceremonies are usually 30 minutes in duration, which includes bridal party entrance, readings, acknowledgements, signing of documents. A legals-only ceremony is between 10-15 minutes in duration.

Of course! I have a list of 50 songs to choose from, all about love and celebration. You will need 3 songs for your ceremony, for walking down the aisle/entrance, the signing of the register and the end of the ceremony.

I do recommend a rehearsal, it’s your only chance to have a run-through before the big day.

If it’s not possible, don’t worry, I will be directing everybody on the wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly!

I co-ordinate my outfit to fit in with you and your bridal party, and I am open to any suggestions.

I offer a premium service to all my couples. I give 100% and I believe my fee is a reflection of my professional service and commitment  to you for the most important part of your wedding day.

It is inclusive of our initial meeting, all telephone and email communication, the writing of your ceremony, travel, rehearsal, officiating your marriage, use of my resources and PA system, and all legal documentation.

The legalities need to be done by me, the NOIM needs to be filled out with a minimum of one month before your wedding date (this can be brought forward under exceptional circumstances), and you must have two people over the age of eighteen years to bear witness to your wedding ceremony. That's it!

·      Initial email/phone call

·      Choose package and check availability

·      Our first meeting

·      Book me in for your date

·      Pay the deposit

·      Complete legal paperwork, which is due at least 1 month before your wedding (this can also be done up to 18 months in advance)

·      You fill out my questionnaire to assist me in writing your ceremony

·      I prepare a draft of your ceremony, and seek your approval

·      Rehearsal and more legal paperwork to be filled out

·      The wedding day! I only do 1 wedding per day, I will be at your location 1 hour before commencement of ceremony to connect with guests and ensure that all is going to plan

·      After the ceremony, once signing of the Register is complete, you will receive a commemorative certificate

·      I will then apply for your Official Marriage Certificate, at no additional charge, and a small way of thanking you for choosing me

Anita was the celebrant for our recent wedding and we couldn’t recommend her highly enough. In the lead up we had no idea what we were doing but she was incredibly helpful and thorough in the planning process. She explained everything we needed to do and consistently reached out to stay in touch and make sure we had everything we needed. She put together an amazing script and included cultural elements for a partly Jewish wedding, and had it all sent to us well ahead of time. On the day she was so supportive, and was the perfect person to have there to calm our nerves.
