About

Hi, my name is Pat. I live in Alexandra Hills, married with four children. I love spending time with my 17 Grandchildren and travelling. I retired from my Corporate Role in November 2023 to take on something that I love to do. I love creating that special wedding day for each of my Couples. I deliver a ceremony that they have always imagined and I will do everything possible to make your day perfect in every way.

Pat was the celebrant for our wedding on the 16th of September. She has a very thorough approach to her work and was invested in making our day special for us. Pat was incredible to work with right from the start. Not knowing the first thing when it came to organising our ceremony she put us at ease at our first meeting, guiding and supporting us every step of the way. We loved that she had so many ideas, presenting some of these ideas and ceremony formalities in a lovely folder, giving us time to discuss, pick and choose what we wanted. Her handcrafted ceremony was beautifully written, also her excellent presentation of the ceremony made it one we’ll always treasure. Pat always found the words and emotions we were searching for when putting the ceremony together making everything seamless on the day. What does a Celebrant do with NOIM form before/until the wedding?

What tasks does a celebrant perform?

What are some of the things we could lean on our celebrant for, apart from the actual ceremony?

A celebrant will and should look after all your Legal Paperwork. Lodge your marriage with Birth Deaths and Marriages in the State that the couple are married.  A celebrant will or can create your story, of how you met and your journed to get to your wedding day.

Your celebrant will work closely with you to ensure that your wedding day is everything you want and have dreamed about.

Your Celebrant will be able to suggest possible verses/poems/readings that you may wish to include in your ceremony. Your Celebrant will be able to assist you with any rituals that you may also like to include such as a sand ritual, which by layering sands together represents bringing the couples families together.

Your Celebrant should be available to talk to you as you need to. Your Celebrant can advise or suggest parts of your ceremony that you may want to include other family members etc.  As Your Celebrant I will always work closely with you, ensuring your day is perfect and I will arrange for your Official Marriage Certificate be delivered to you once I have registered your marriage.

How to include our mums in our wedding

Hi there, would love some different ideas of how we can each include our mums at our wedding, maybe something non-traditional but meaningful. Thank you

  1. You can have your mother included in the planning.
  2. You could have both your mother and father walk you down the aisle.
  3. Wear some of her jewlery
  4. If she still have a keepsake from her wedding include that in your wedding eg: if she still has maybe a horseshoe that she carried down the aisle then you carry it too down the aisle at your wedding.
  5. You could have a piece of her wedding gown sewn into your gown.
  6. Include her favourate flowers in your decorating
  7. If she has a special talent, eg crafting get her to design or create your wedding invitations / placecards and thank you cards.
