OVERVIEW
Hi I'm Alan and I am a love-aholic and I believe love is for everyone!
I have been around the wedding industry for over 15 years whether that be photographic stores, menswear or jewellery and I love the wedding industry - There is something about being around people in the happy bubble.
Like most people my age, I had attended my share of cookie cutter weddings where I would tell my friends "I think I could do this better" - so thats exactly why I became a civil marriage celebrant - to make weddings better.
I offer fun and exciting wedding ceremonies custom to you. You could tell me you want to have your wedding in cave, in the bush or in a plane and I will be there to help make the ceremony a success!
I understand it can be a stressful time planning a wedding. So to make sure we are a good fit, I offer a no obligation meeting to make sure I am the celebrant for you.
What are you waiting for - get in touch and knock one thing of your wedding day list.
FAQ
No, the only mandatory things to include is the Celebrants Monitum (this explains the marriage laws in Australia), you need to say the minimum vows and sign your certificates.
The rest is all up to you - everything is personalised exactly as you want it!
Yes, I have a PA System - we can crank it up loud and make sure everyone can hear.
I can provide my PA System for the music to be played in the ceremony. However you will require someone to play the music.
The best way to do this is to have the songs in order on a MP3 player (such as a phone or Ipod) and use a trusty cord to connect it.
After the cermony I will take my PA with me so ensure you have music for your reception planned.

wondering if there are any other ways to describe each other in our ceremony other than life partner, or husband and wife?
Black Tie Celebrants - Alan Murrell
Throughout your ceremony you can use whatever terminology to describe your partner and your self - it can be as unique as you.
the only exception to this is when you are reading your legal vows at this time you can only use husband, wife or spouse.
What are the most important things to include in wedding vows?
Black Tie Celebrants - Alan Murrell
Wedding vows in Australia have a minimum legal wording of "I call upon the persons here present to witness that I (insert name), take thee, (insert name) to be my lawfully wedded Husband/Wife/Spouce - or words to that effect - But vows can be so much more!
By all means you can say just the minimum required or you can also express your feelings or make an inside joke only your partner will understand.
Discuss with your Celebrant the style of ceremony you want to go with and they will guide you in the best direction to give you the perfect day.
Have fun with it!
