I love to help make distinctive ceremonies that tell your story with fun and honesty and a strong appreciation of the beauty of the moment. 

I Have loved every moment of my decade working as a celebrant which has included a huge variety of types of ceremony from large formal ceremonies to tiny and beautiful elopments on the beach at Binnalong Bay with family pets involved in the ceremony. I even had one couple who chose to leap into a waterhole after their vows - quite literally "taking the plunge" into married life.

It's your moment and my job is to support you in taking that leap and ensuring your unique vision is realised, no matter how intimate or how grand.

I am very lucky to have been able to study to be a celebrant at Monash University, having completed their Graduate Diploma in Civil Ceremonies. It was a remarkable course which changed my life and my understanding of our need for ceremony to mark significant changes in life.

Beyond formal qualifications, I also have a long history in story-telling, writing, performance and public speaking borne out of many years working in theatre, radio, film and television.

I am a confident and warm public speaker, very aware of the subtleties needed to give an appropriate sense of gravitas or theatre to a ceremony, dependent on your needs and vision for your wedding ceremony.
