About
I became a celebrant after having my own great experience when I was a bride in 2012. I wanted something very simple and was fairly headstrong about keeping it short and sweet. It wasn't until afterwards that I realised how lucky I was to get a celebrant who just listened to what I wanted even if it bucked the trend. She inspired me to give other couples the same experience and I strive to provide my clients with a guiding hand and a listening ear to achieve the ceremony of their dreams!

FAQ
You can enquire at any stage of wedding planning but couples usually book the venue first then contact the other suppliers including celebrants. Your celebrant will need to reserve a date for you so that's usually done once the venue is chosen. Your celebrant will need at least one month's notice before your wedding date so best not to leave it to the last minute.
My fee includes:
I travel anywhere in the greater Brisbane and Gold Coast regions without any additional cost. I certainly travel outside of these areas and charge a modest travel fee in this case.
There are only 2 compulsory components that need to be said during your ceremony so the rest is completely up to your imagination! I can certainly make suggestions for alternatives and work with you to come up with something unique and memorable.
Not at all. No part of the cermony needs to be memorised by you. Everything is written down and I usually give the option to my couples to either read straight off the page or I can feed the words to you quietly. We can always do a rehearsal sometime before the day so you would know how the ceremony will flow.

Thanks so much Cheri! I'm so glad your ceremony was exactly what you wanted. It truly was a wonderful ceremony to be a part of. It was especially touching to see how delighted your family was to be involved with the ring warming ceremony. It was a pleasure being your celebrant!

It was a pleasure to be a part of your ceremony Ariana! I’m actually glad you used the word “calm” because it’s something I try really hard to bring to every ceremony. (Of course I bring the energy when necessary too!) You both did an amazing job of putting together a ceremony that incorporated elements that meant so much to you both and I was happy to facilitate. Congratulations once again!

Get Expert AdviceDo celebrants come with marriage documents and how early can I file them after the wedding?
I was wondering if marriage celebrants usually come with their own marriage documents included in their package? Also, is there a timeframe of when I should file my marriage documents after the wedding? How early is too early/how long can I wait? Thanks!
Ceremonies by Tusa
Hi Cindy. Your marriage celebrant will provide the documents required for your marriage and you will generally fill them out together so there's no need for you to source any of your own forms. Seeing as your wedding is just over one year away you can most certainly start filling out forms now if you so wish. The initial form (Notice of Intended Marriage) must be filled out at least one month before your wedding date though but you look quite organised so I'm sure you won't wait until then. Happy wedding planning and please let me know if you have any further questions, I'd be happy to help.
