I love life. I am a scuba diver, a motorbike rider, who loves travelling, camping and anything outdoors. I love to bum around on beaches and the frock up for a special event. I am a celebrant because one of my strong values is to give. And what better way that to help lovers celebrate their special day. We are having just a small wedding - 20 guests. It will be a simple ceremony followed by the reception. We don't want to spend too much, but would like a celebrant who can make the short amount of time special.
Can I submit a NOIM to the registry before my divorce is finalised?
My divorce (joint application)is currently booked in to be heard August 7th and we are planning to be married on September 22nd. Can we lodge a NOIM to make sure we meet the 1-month requirement whilst the divorce is being processed and show it finalised before the wedding day?

You only need to lodge the NOIM to the celebrant and yes you can lodge it as long as you have the decree absolute prior to the wedding. The celebrant will need to sight the original document before they can marry you
Elopement In A Hotel Room
I'm thinking of eloping in a nice hotel suite/room. Do we have to advise the hotel of an elopement if it's just going to be in the hotel room with 2 witnesses?

No need to tell anyone except the celebrant, your witnesses and your partner....lol. Yiu will have hired the room so it's yours to use how you want.
