FAQ
Now this is an idea I encourage you to spend a little time on! I can show many ideas to get you started. If you dont know where to start, choose a few lines you like and send through to me. I can help to arrange/ group/ re-write to perfect! A small legal statement begins your vow then theres room for humour, ideas your relationship celebrates; in your own wording expression! At practice walk through we look into how to present the vow on the day. Feel free to send questions thorough!
I just love the idea of creativity to celebrate the most special times of your life. With consultation to capture your ideals and emotions a tradition can become a very special photo opportunity. Your relationship is so unique and needs to be celebrated as you begin your lives together.
What a precious moment for family celebrations, but i prefer to present it as a "life stage Blessing". We can welcome Grroms parents in too as I ask a pledge and get them to acknowlegde "With Love, We Will". Then the chance for a hug or handshake and a personal photo before the formalities of the day begin.
Families love you and so want the best for you in your life ahead. BUT...this is your ceremony to begin a life commitment and your thoughts become the basis of your plans. It is a celebrants job to encompass and embrace your requests and suggest a few alternatives until it all sounds great.
I really always clarify if you have a plan B for a wet day! If you dont mind a little rain... I am happy to wait until a shower lifts with your direction. I never book another ceremony to rush or spoil your day! I will talk this over at first meeting to be sure I am able to work your wishes. Often a poor weather location can be negotiated early in the planning stages to reassure any last minute problems.

Get Expert Advicehow can we make a mention of same-sex couples and marriage equality in our civil ceremony?
we're not gay ourselves, but our dear friends are and we were wondering if celebrants would be open to making a special mention of it during our ceremony

Hello and a thoughtful question that many Celebrants and couples choose today!
As a celebrant i mention a few lines before our Legal Obligation called The Monitum.
I announce that "the following words are required by law to be included in a civil marriage ceremony and while we accept this it is our hope that the law will soon change allowing the most beautiful joy of all couple relationships to legally celebrate marriage...enabling a loving relationship to be recognised for its dedication."
a good celebrant should help you adapt the words to what you feel

Hello...I always tell my couples to speak the ideas of your vows in your own expressions.
I will and I promise are nice but in real life wills & promises sometimes need to be broken.
Google Vows for 3o million ideas, but use lines that make sense to you!
a little humour is great as it creates a wonderfully relaxed smile.
they dont have to more than a few lines after the legal component and any good celebrant will help you work with your ideas to present a meanigful moment.
every sincere wish
