Pretty much after you've decided on a date and venue.  I tend to book between 6 to 16 months in advance. However that doesn't mean I would definitely not have availability earlier, so best to make contact.

Also, important to be aware that you are legally required to lodge, with your celebrant, the document called a Notice of Intended Marriage, at least one month before the date of your marriage, and not more than 18 months prior to the date.  

We would arrange a catch up, over a coffee or maybe something a tad stronger!  No commitment at this stage, simply a time for us to get to know each other,  you tell me what you'd like or envisage for you ceremony. 

You might be thinking a short and simple ceremony with a small number of guests, or a longer more detailed and personalised ceremony, involving a large bridal party and number of guests.  It may be an elopement or a surprise ceremony. Once I've got a sense of what you'd like, I'll outline what's involved from legals to ceremony process, and provide my fee.

I'm based in Alexandria, Sydney.  Face to face meeting is always nice, I often meet couples at a local cafe or sometimes we meet halfway. Together we figure out what works best.  For couples out of Sydney or overseas, we arrange a chat via Face Time or other. Basically, we make it happen!
