OVERVIEW
Looking for a charismatic marriage celebrant who can beautifully represent your shared love, values, and dreams while sprinkling his warmth and sincerity into the mix? If so, Paul Wheeler is the perfect choice. He thrives on crafting emotive ceremonies encapsulating everything you wish to say to your partner and guests.
With over 20 years of experience entertaining as a musician and MC, Paul understands the importance of keeping an audience engaged and inspired. His passion for officiating weddings was ignited after performing a few meaningful ceremonies for his closest friends, followed by a high-profile couple featured in Vogue magazine.
Whether you’re after a short, sweet, and simple ceremony or something entirely out of the ordinary, Paul is excited to make it happen. He’s also eager to include as many readings, choreography, music, and rituals as you desire. He's covered everything from formal and casual ceremonies to secular and spiritual.
“He’s charismatic, engaging, and a firm believer in love. Paul goes above and beyond to ensure the ceremony he presents is meaningful, personal, and magical. He made the whole process smooth and seamless and presented a professional yet slick ceremony from beginning to end... I can’t put into words how incredible Paul was on our wedding day.” - Zoe T.

Where can we meet up in person for a chat?
Paul Wheeler is happy to meet you somewhere central to the CBD during or after business hours. He can also arrange to come to you if that’s more convenient.
How long are your ceremonies?
Paul is happy to craft a wedding ceremony as long or as short as you desire. He recommends approximately 30 minutes; however, he has performed ceremonies in as little time as 10 minutes. There are a minimal number of legalities that are essential to include. After that, the details and structure are up to you (with Paul’s guidance, of course!).
“Paul was an exceptional addition to our special day and was an absolute pleasure to not only work with but to now know. Organised, well presented, humorous and full of ideas and experience we couldn’t recommend him more highly.” - David V.

FAQ
Whilst I am based in Sydney I am happy to travel ANYWHERE within Australia to officiate your wedding, contact me to find out the costs involved in extra travel to your location.
The fastest ceremony I have performed to date was over in 10 minutes however I prefer it to more of a ceremony rather than a procedure. We can craft a meaningful and sophisicated ceremony and have it performed in approx 30 mins - that said it is totally up to you and we can make it suit your requirement :)
I do have a wireless mic and speaker I can supply for the ceremony which does not require power allowing the location to be free of cables and power outlets. I wear a headset microphone and can provide a handheld microphone to you for your vows and readings. I can also play music through the system is required.

Hi Mariana, congratulations on your engagement! I would recommend getting your paperwork in order as soon as is viable for you. You will have many things regarding the planning and preparation of your wedding which will come up very quickly and the less you have on your plate the better. This is one thing you can get out of the way early on without worrying about a last minute rush. As per the legislation and specifically the Marriage Act 1961 you must lodge your "NOIM" no less than one month prior and no more than 18 months prior. Please see below an excerpt from the act relevant to your question.
"The NOIM must be given to the authorised celebrant no earlier than 18 months and no later than one month before the date of the marriage.22 A notice expires after 18 months, and a marriage may not be solemnised if the NOIM was received more than 18 months before the date of the proposed marriage. Parties are encouraged to produce their evidence of date and place of birth as well as evidence of identity and the end of any previous marriage (if relevant) at the time of lodging the NOIM. However, this document may be produced at any time before the marriage is solemnised. For the purposes of complying with the timeframes required for lodging the NOIM it is sufficient for an authorised celebrant to sight scanned (emailed) or faxed copies of the documents at the time of lodgement of the NOIM, provided the originals are sighted by the authorised celebrant before the marriage is solemnised."
All the best with your ceremony and wedding festivities! :)
