About
I believe every stage of life is special and should be celebrated. As a Life Celebrant I love working with couples and families to create that very special ceremony, from celebrating the beginning of a life to the commemorating the end of a life and anywhere in between. I offer an obligation free first chat, so let's start planning. I became a celebrant in 2013 and have loved every minute of it. In 2017 my husband and I celebrated 33 years together and we have two children, now both married.

Is a runsheet enough to coordinate everyone on the big day or are rehearsals necessary? If so what is the best approach for this?
Lisa Joy Teasdale - Life Celebrant
Hi there, you don't have to have a rehearsal but I believe that it really does help both the bridal party and the Celebrant. If you have the opportunity to hold a rehearsal on-site, you have the opportunity to make any last minute changes, to time the music to your entry and everyone knows what will happen on the day.
Everyone has different ideas about this but my wedding package always includes the options of an onsite rehearsal where possible and most of my brides welcome this.
if its a hot day should i be providing umbrellas and fans for my guests? (outdoor ceremony)
Lisa Joy Teasdale - Life Celebrant
If there isn't any shade available, then providing fans or umbrellas is a nice touch - but you can also suggest guests wear hats and bring sun protection. It doesn't have to be at your cost. It is definitely worth thinking about though when planning where your wedding ceremony will take place.

Hi, that decision is really up to you. You can ask anyone you would like to do a reading - it's just easier if part of the bridal party as they are generally close by but that shouldn'r really be an issue.
