FAQ

I do have my own PA system.  Also provide a hand held Mike. The PA system has the options of an inbuilt CD player, a USB plug in for the option of playing your own choice of music. I also provide an aux cord if music is to be played through your phone.

The Notice of Intended Marriage form must be lodged with the Celebrant a minimum of 1 month in advance of the wedding date and a maximum of 18 months ahead of the wedding date.  I am required by law to sight original copies of Birth Certificates, Passports and Drivers Licences.

I write a personalised ceremony for each couple and lodge all legal paperwork with Births Deaths and Marriages for registration of the marriage.

Rosemary was amazing celebrant. In fact, I was surprised with her service. I heard some of my friends, they all said their celebrants were quite simple and just like doing a job. But with her service, I didn’t feel it in that way, she did it with her passion and heart as like we are her kids. We were so happy and lucky to have her as our marriage celebrant. It was very pleasant memory. Highly recommended for whoever will need in the future.

Rosemary will be marrying my partner & I o the 6.2.21. After we originally had to postpone our first wedding date 8.9.20, Rosemary very quickly accomodated our needs with no fuss and nothing but absolute support for my husband and I. Rosemary takes her work very seriously and works so hard to achieve a personal relationship with you, it almost feels as if now it will be my mum marrying us on our wedding day as opposed to just another celebrant. If you want to remember that day you married your best friend in a beautiful soulful, supported environment please hire Rosemary. There is no better person we could think to marry us.

Rosemary is a lovely, caring and professional wedding celebrant. She is easy to work with, always listen to her customer and being respsctful. There were moments that me and my wife were really tense during the process, she would make some appropriate jokes to manage with the circumstances and provide us with guidance to lead us through in the ceremony. Highly recommend for Rosemary's service and we are really glad that we have chosen her as our celebrant.

Rosemary is a brilliant, friendly and professional wedding celebrant and it was great to have her services on our special day. Rosemary was a wonderful celebrant who held multiple meetings with us in the lead up to our wedding, was always very quick to respond and help identify anything we'd missed in our planning, and was just a delight of a celebrant! She made our ceremony personalised perfectly for us and made sure we were aware of every step in the process. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant! Her prices are fantastic and her service is professional with organisation that we're confident none others offer!

Do celebrants have a backup celebrant in case of emergencies?

Hello. I was wondering what happens if our celebrant is sick or something happens and they can't come to our wedding on the day? Do they usually have a backup celebrant in mind for this sort of thing? And how does it work with the legal side, would our marriage still be legal if another celebrant performed the ceremony? Thank you!

Ceremonies With Heart - Rosemary Hackman

Most Celebrants  do have a back up or can call upon a Celebrant Colleague to help out in an emergency situation where the Celebrant is unable to carry out their duties on the wedding day.

Is there anyway possible to get married without witnesses

Can you be married without witnesses in the same room. As I have anxiety issues and I don't do very well around other people.

Ceremonies With Heart - Rosemary Hackman

NO. Witnesses are an integral  part of the Ceremony. It has been required by the Australian Marriage Act 1961.

Do we need a marriage celebrant?

Can we exchange vows on our wedding day , and just get registered at the registry office on separate day- and therefore not require a celebrant? And if so- is this more cost effective? Thank you

Ceremonies With Heart - Rosemary Hackman

If you want to be married legally according to the Australian Marriage Act of 1961 then the answer is YES'. The ceremony must be Officiated by an Authetised and registered Marriage Celebrant.  The Marriage ACT 1961, specifies clearly that the Max  weight time is no more than 18 months and no less  than ONE month prior to your wedding date.
