OVERVIEW
I extend my best wishes to couples wherever they may be. Getting engaged and planning a wedding is a time to celebrate your love and commitment. But as exciting as it is, it’s also stressful. Planning a wedding is a big investment of your time and energy.
Whilst there is a seemingly endless number of decisions to be made, rest assured that your ceremony will be in my very capable hands. When you take the time to symbolically and verbally reflect on the personal meaning of your union through the process of designing your own wedding ceremony, you give yourselves the opportunity to clarify and share your deepest feelings, needs and desires about yourselves.
Whether there be five or a hundred and fifty guests at your wedding, it is still a very personal occasion and should be truly reflective of who you are as individuals and as a couple.
Always respectful, mindful and sensitive to all partnerships, I am passionate about creating and delivering a unique ceremony for your special day.
A good place to start the process of designing your ceremony is to take time together to explore your individual tastes and desires. This initial consultation is free of charge to answer any of your queries.

About
I am deeply grateful to all those couples who have given me the privilege of officiating at their wedding and commitment ceremonies. It has been a delight to conduct many memorable and beautiful ceremonies throughout Canberra, its surrounding areas and on the beaches of Jervis Bay. Having over thirty years of teaching experience, being a wife and mother of two, and several years solemnising marriages, I bring a highly professional work ethic, a creative flair, unwavering support and enthusiasm.

FAQ
I have a format I follow that covers all components of a ceremony, each one flowing nicely to the next. Depending on your design and depth of your unique ceremony, will determine the length and detail of each component and whether all components are used.
My celebrant fee is $650 for a full wedding ceremony. With the completion of the NOIM (Notice of Intended Marriage), your first official paper work, a non refundable fee of $350 is to be paid to secure my services for your chosen date and the outstanding balance of $300 is to paid two weeks prior to the wedding.
Yes. I do recommend a rehearsal for many reasons:
Yes.
Yes. I provide one table, two chairs and table cover. You are more than welcome to place any small decorations in-keeping with your wedding theme on the table.
Yes, by all means; however, I have samples that you can consider and adapt for your personal use.
1. Whilst I am based in Canberra I am happy to travel anywhere to officiate your wedding. However, travel to your location beyond a 30km radius from my home in Fadden will incurr additional travel costs @68cents/km.
2. I also conduct weddings within the Jervis Bay area. Additional travel costs are calculated 30kms from Vincentia.
My PA system has the facility to attach a phone or usb to play your music. Choose your top four favourite songs or instrumental pieces for the actual ceremony as you will need a song/piece for the processional, two songs/pieces for signing the register and one for the recessional. It also adds to the atmosphere to have music playing while your guests are gathering before the ceremony. So start gathering your playlist now.
I do ask you to organise someone to be in charge of the music throughout the ceremony. If there is a need to discontinue the music at a particular time, always fade out the music as opposed to a sudden stop.
Absolutely for both the bride and the groom.
