Unlike other marriage celebrants, I don’t disappear after your ceremony as I will follow everything through from the beginning to the end, crossing all the “T’s” and dotting all the “i’s” ensuring your special day is enjoyable and memorable for you and your guests.

I have been a celebrant since 2010 and that came about because I had attended a few weddings and was so disappointed in how they lacked the character and a sense of personality of the couple getting married. I am a people’s person with a corporate background focused on customer service. I can confidently engage, connect, and communicate with people from all walks of life; and had the pleasure of meeting couples from Australia and the world, giving each of them the most amazing ceremony possible

No, you don’t have to have a “traditional” wedding. Weddings today reflect the wishes of the couple. They may be held in any venue at any time or on any day. Your choice might be a beautiful building, in a park or garden, on a boat, in a rainforest or on a beach. Apart from some legal requirements you can structure the ceremony however you wish. You ceremony can be brief just covering the bare essentials but still very intimate or it can be very detailed to include cultural customs or rituals – the choice is entirely yours as to what you want to be included.
Yes, I will organise all the legal paperwork and order your marriage certificate from BDM for you.

I can provide a beautiful ring box to be used during the ring exchange
I have decorative pens for you to choose from for your signing table
I have a good quality portable PA system to play your ceremony music with cordless microphones for you to use whilst saying your vows
A copy of your ceremony made into a keepsake booklet with a few photos of your day
Yes, I give you some examples of vows to choose from or to inspire you to write your own.
I also give you some tips and can assist with the structure.
If you provide me with the playlist of the songs you want played during your ceremony I will download them and play through the PA system
When you have booked your venue it is always a good idea to book your celebrant at the same time firstly, to confirm they are available on your date and will travel to your chosen venue as Celebrants can get booked out well in advance.

Hi Bec, To set up a wedding ceremony schedule, this is the ceremony format I offer
Starting with pre-ceremony music to create some atmosphere beforehand
Entrance of Bride and her Bridesmaids
Giving Away
Welcome including acknowledgement of loved ones (lighting of candle is often done here)
Introduction and "Love Story" of Bride and Groom
Parent's Blessing (Optional)
Reading/Poem (Optional)
Celebrant Authority (Monitum)
The Asking
Vows
Exchange of Rings
Ritual (wine, sand, reading) etc (Optional)
Declaration as Husband and Wife
Kiss
Music/signing of register and certificate
Presentation of Certificate / Conclusion
Introducing newly married couple as Mr & Mrs..
Prelude with music
I allow 30 minutes for the ceremony – less if there aren't any readings or rituals.
The ceremony is tailored around what the Bride and Groom decide they would like include.
Most photographers give approx. 10 minutes for guests to congratulate the happy couple after the ceremony as they like to get the group photograph quite quickly followed by family photographs.
These are taken at the ceremony location and average time is approx. 20 minutes.
Bride, Groom and bridal party then go and have their "Location" photos taken. Depending on photographers and location this can take 60-90 minutes or more if travel is involved.
Bride, Groom and bridal party then join their guests at the reception.
