If you're feeling overwhelmed and busy with work and life in general, you can trust that I'll be on hand to offer support, tips and advice. Your day should be filled with laughter, happiness and love. This is your day so have fun planning it.
If you'd like to share your plans and dreams for your upcoming ceremony, we can meet face to face or I offer contactless meetings via Zoom, Facebook or Whatsapp.

About
Why am I a Celebrant? Plain and simply because I love the whole experience of meeting a couple, hearing their story and taking the wonderful journey of planning their day with them. Working together right up until I introduce them to their family and friends as "our newly married couple". What's not to love in being involved in one of the most important days of a couple's life - the excitement, happiness and their love is something I'll never get tired of being involved in.

Short and sweet, legal Ceremony. Suitable for couples wanting to elope or preferring no fuss and yet at a location of their choice. This package offers:
o One meet and greet and finalise the legal requirements

o Say I Do at your place or mine

o 3 Meetings including a rehearsal (no additional charge for rehearsal at Venue providing within Brisbane Metropolitan)
o Unlimited contact by email and phone
o Ceremony examples and vows, sent to you in soft copy plus a list of handy tips for organising your wedding
o Creating a personalised Ceremony, by not only getting to know you, but providing a questionnaire for each of you to complete.
o My time on the day to deliver your beautifully crafted, personal wedding ceremony
o ** Travel within a 40 klm radius of Brisbane included – travel to Stradbroke and outer Islands would be additional

o Ceremonial pen for the signing of the Marriage Register
o All the legals, including:
o Notice of Intended Marriage and Form 14, submitted to BDM
o Completing the Application for your Registered Marriage Certificate which I can request on your behalf (Payment is directly to Births Deaths and Marriages)
o Arriving an hour before your Ceremony to provide assistance to groom and groomsmen e.g.pinning the buttonholes, ensuring water is available
o Directing your guests after the Ceremony

Traditionally the Maid of Honour is a single person and the Matron of Honour is Married. Their duties remain the same. You may also choose to have a "Man of Honour" who undertakes the same duties. ;)
Non-religious Celebrant in a Chapel
Hi, My Fiancé and I have booked in through the Cooma Parish to use the Thredbo Chapel for our big day (and paid in advance). If we have declined using the catholic priest can we use a non-denominational Civil celebrant, or are we required to use a religious celebrant?

I have found that if there is a resident Priest or Minister assigned to the church/chapel then it is expected that they will conduct the Ceremony.
The only instance that this could not occur is if they are not authorised to conduct a Marriage Ceremony.
Who can be our witnesses if we don't know anyone in Australia?

If you are eloping or this is a very small ceremony, as long as there are 2 people over the age of 18 present to witness the Marriage (mandatory wording) and they are able to understand English.
I have had couples who have asked their photographer and a stranger or strangers. Before we commence I will advise the witnesses of their requirements . You will find they are so excited to be asked and to be a part of the Ceremony.
