About
I love being a Celebrant - every ceremony is so unique and different. Over the past years I have been privileged to officiate weddings that are grand and lavish, relaxed beach themes, Mickey Mouse styled, 50s themed, new years eve spectacular, and the small intimate group of just the bride, groom 2 witnesses and myself and everything in between. Each and every one of them bespoke and special. Its a delight to get to know my couples and I love every part of what I do!

Short & Sweet Ceremony or planning an Elopement?
Not every couple wants a full style ceremony. If you would prefer a Short & Sweet ceremony, at a venue in the Penrith/Blue Mountains area, then I'll happily provide a quote similar to a Registry office style ceremony.
This allows you to choose the location, rather than the rigid formality of travelling to the Registry office. There are many ways we can celebrate your wedding ceremony, so talk to me about your dream wedding, and lets create it together! Mention Easy Weddings to discuss the best price available.

It was a delight to see you both so happy on the big day, after the last minute changes due to bad weather! Glad I was able to help with the decorations and support the night before, to make it perfect for you both. It was the dream wedding you both wanted and I was so delighted to be part of this with you. Wishing you a wonderful forever.

Get Expert AdviceDoes the bride go on the Honeymoon with her maiden or married name?
Karen Brown, A Timeless Love Celebrant
Thats a great question!
Your Celebrant can order your official Marriage Certificate at the time they registry your marriage, but it takes 1-2 weeks time for the certificate to be issued and sent to you by Registered mail.
You would then need to have all of your documents including your passport and drivers licence changed to your married name by presenting the certificate as evidence.
Overseas travel documents could not be issued in the married name without your passport being updated, so if you are travelling soon after your wedding day, you do not have the timeframe to safely update everything to ensure there is no issue when you travel.
Where can I get a notice of intended marriage form?
Is this something that I have to find myself?
Karen Brown, A Timeless Love Celebrant
As a Celebrant, I have copies available for my couples and help them fill out all the accurate details as this document is the basis for all of the legal documentation used to record the marriage.
You can down load it and read through the details via this link:
https://www.ag.gov.au/FamiliesAndMarriage/Marriage/Documents/New-notice-of-intended-marriage.pdf .
You are required to produce your original birth certificaes or original passports and if either party has been previously married, original evidence of the termination of the marriage (divorce or death certificate).
I am happy to answer any questions, and ensure the legal process is managed and you know you are in good hands every step of the way to become Mr and Mrs!
can a marriage celebrant marry a family member?
I went to a wedding and the celebrant was the grooms father. Is this legal?
Karen Brown, A Timeless Love Celebrant
Yes, they certainly can. The same legal requirements apply to all marriages, and the Celebrant would complete all of the same paperwork, and be required to sight the original documentation and record the details on the Notice of Intended Marriage.
Every ceremony is special and unique. Its about creating that dream wedding every couple desires.

Thanks Jo, it was wonderful to create the destination wedding for you and David. I loved our regular emails, and it was wonderful when you travelled over from England and we finally met the day before your wedding ceremony. It was a beautiful wedding in the Blue Mountains, and I loved every moment of sharing this day with you and your family. Wishing you forever love and happiness.
