Kate has been an ABIA Awarded Finalist for 14 consecutive years as voted by past couples, for her ability to make ceremonies stress-free, humourous and heartfelt.

An Authorised Marriage Celebrant since 2008, Kate has extensive experience paired with strong communication, being highly organised,and attention to detail. Most importantly, through listening to what it is her Clients really want and drawing on years of experience she is able to provide options on how to best make it happen.

Having a background as a Vocalist and performer for many years, as well as extensive public speaking experience allows diversity in the way Kate presents weddings. This means each ceremony is not only written for the couple, but presented in a manner that also reflects them.

Kate is also the founder of the Ballarat Marriage Registry, assisting many couples as they 'Elope to Ballarat' surrounded by the elegance and charm of the Ballarat Marriage Registry's 'Llanfyllin House'.

About

2008 saw my journey as a Civil Marriage Celebrant begin - for the last 16 years I have been fortunate to share the marriage ceremonies with many hundreds of excited couples, in addition, I have had the absolute privilege of officiating at hundreds of Elopements for couples from throughout Australia with the Ballarat Marriage Registry at historical 'Llanfyllin House'.

We were married by Kate in June 2021 in the midst of the pandemic. I can honestly say our wedding was saved by Kate and her willingness to go above and beyond for her clients. From our first meeting we knew we had hit the jackpot with Kate, she was professional and took the time to understand our love story. We noticed her attention to detail straight away when she noted and remembered family members’ names and significant events to incorporate into our highly personalised ceremony. We could not have asked for a more relaxed and intimate ceremony. Just one week out from the wedding we were forced to move venues, Kate proactively sought available options for us which meant we could quickly move to a new venue and still have the wedding of our dreams. We recommend Kate to everyone we speak to now. Thank you, Kate!

Kate was an absolute legend when it came to my wedding, I'm a very anxious person so naturally one of the biggest days of my life had a love anxiety involved, she rocked up and chatted with me and the bridal party and really helped calm my nerves, she was there every step of the way and I wouldn't have been able to be as calm and collected as I was without her! I highly highly recommend Kate! My wife and I have discussed when we renew our vows we will have Kate!
