OVERVIEW
David Ward, the heart behind Rite Ceremony 4U, has been a dedicated Marriage Celebrant since 2008. He has crafted countless ceremonies across Lake Gardens and beyond, bringing a personal touch to each wedding. His approach is straightforward: listen to the couple’s wishes and turn them into a ceremony that reflects their love and commitment. David’s role doesn’t just start and end with the ceremony. From the first meeting, he guides couples through the legalities, ensuring everything is in place for the big day. With a background in counselling, David is also equipped to handle any pre-wedding nerves or last-minute changes calmly and confidently. At Rite Ceremony 4U, no two weddings are the same. David works closely with each couple to create a bespoke ceremony that matches their personalities and love story.
"Thank you for the most amazing wedding ceremony. It was a dream come true! Our families and friends have commented on how beautifully and professionally the ceremony was conducted. You are a generous friend. Thanks again for such a special wedding." - Kevin & Galang

FAQ
I ensure all your documents are completed correctly and are lodged so you are legally a married couple and this is all of my responsibility. I will help you fill out all the forms you need.
My fees will cover all the travel, pre-meetings, official documentation, equipment and ceremony.
On the wedding day, you will be given a Certificate commemorating your marriage.
However, if you want an official copy for changing names, updating passports and professional registrations, you will need to apply directly to the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages in your state for a copy.
I can do this in Victporia when I lodge the registration of marriage at the precribed fee by Births deaths & marriages.
In the case where I am unfortunately not able to perform your wedding in the event of an accident all is not lost.
I have great network of other Celebrants who will be able to assist in making your ceremony everything you wanted it to be.
The law requires you to give a celebrant at least 1 month and 1 day’s advanced notice. There are some exceptions, I can provide more information.
The first thing to do, is for the both of you to meet at an initial appointment to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). This can be found on the Attorney Generals web page:
https://www.ag.gov.au/FamiliesAndMarriage/Marriage/Pages/Forms.aspx#_Download
At this stage you don’t need to have anything too definite for your ceremony just yet, only a date and a location. Even if you don’t have either of these it’s all good.
For our first appointment, you will need the following items:
Any ideas you have about the kind of ceremony you want, or aspects you wish to include, please brings these along to our first meeting so I can begin to understand what you are after. This will help me build a ceremony to what you want it to be.
If you do somehow find out you can’t get married for some reason, please don’t let this deter you, as I am also allowed to perform a commitment ceremony.
Ready to get started? Still have some unanswered questions? Please contact me to discuss your options.
Yes this is a mandatory requirement under the marraige Act to supply an eval.uation sheet to couples.
