About
Hi everyone, I'm Alex and I became a Celebrant because I enjoy getting to know people, along with their stories and how modern love is interpreted. I have a background in hospitality and event management, and I am also a Registered Nurse. My partner and I live in Ballarat with our English Staffy Juniper who is more affectionately know as Joonie (or Goonbag, Doonie, Little Bear, Miss Pooh..... the list goes on).

If you have additional theming needs for the ceremony, I have an array of vintage and Mid Century Modern collectables, knicknacks, oddities and tchotchkes that can be used at no fee when booking my services.
I also have a pair of large black hounds and a garden arch that can be hired for the ceremony for an additonal fee. Please let me know when enquiring if you are interested in additional theming.

FAQ
I sure do! There is no travel fee if the venue is within 150 km of my home in Ballarat, or 100km of the Melbourne CBD, so that covers a lot of ground.
I sure can! There is an additional fee for MC duties, and we can chat about the ins and outs when booking my services.
Whilst I won't personally look after your dog as I'll be running the ceremony, I can recommend services around Victoria that can assist with looking after your pooch should you like to include them on your special day.
I have a BOSE PA that runs on battery and bluetooth. I have a wireless microphone set up as well as a set of lapel microphones that can be used. For larger crowds, I have a secondary ALTO PA that can be used.
I plan to be at the venue or ceremony site no later than an hour before the ceremony so that I can set up, sound check, greet guests and meet your event organisers.
