A short rehearsal helps to fine tune and get the choreography of the bridal partys entrance/s, it also clarifies the what's expected of them and where do I stand on the day. It's preferable that everyone participating in the wedding ceremony attends the rehearsal. This includes the wedding party, readers and both sets of parents if they'd like to attend. Where ever possible it's best to have your rehearsal at your designated venue however at times venues are already booked the day or so prior; in this situation we'll discuss some alternatives.
The following legal requirements must be met for a marriage conducted by a registered marriage celebrant to be considered legal in Australia:
The majority of ceremonies I perform are between 20 – 30 minutes in duration. However, your ceremony can be as short or as long as you would like! This depends on what you would like to include and just how personalised you would like everything to be.
Unfortunaley this is in the construction stages however I do have Instagram fionawinwoodweddings
I have been lucky enough to be invloved in many cultural weddings. I'm totally respectful of rituals and are hapy to perform then as part of your ceremony.
Absolutely fine.
I will also assist and share in expertise in putting your cermeony together to ensure the flow is natural and not awkward.
Most definitely, I love love love icluding all furbabies. They are often the ring bearers and we have a special way of making that work perfectly!
Myself and my sound technican arrive a minimum of 45 minutes before your scheduled time of starting. Were always first to arrive.
I'll only book in one wedding a day. I don't enjoy being time pushed to leave and race to another wedding. I give you my 100% focus for the entire time we are with you.
Yes I am a fulltime Celebrant officiating weddings 365 days of the year.
We do a specialised playlist for every wedding. All you need to do is tell me which songs and versions and where they fit into your ceremony.
Let us know you vibe of music as we like to match it for your before and after ceremony music.
I have a network if Celebrants I can call on if needed.
Touch wood as this has never happen to me but I have stood in for other Celebrants especially during covid.
Absolutely I assist and ensure the feels are the same and word length also matches.
Some couples can write an A4 but some just need a little help starting.
My service fees are dependant on the type of ceremony, for example a commitment ceremony costs less than a marriage ceremony because there are no legal requirements.
Please email me fwweddings@gmail.com with your ceremony date, time, venue and any other particulars and I can give you an appropriate indication of my fees.
I have a professional bluetooth mipro speaker system on a speaker stand, which is portable and wireless.
A handheld wireless microphone for my couples and readers to use, and a headset microphone that I wear.
I have a simple signing table and 2 chairs I can bring along on your request.

How to honour lost loved ones at our wedding
Would love some ideas on how we can incorporate my late nan into our wedding. Thank you.
Fiona Winwood Marriage Celebrant
Hi there,
Good question as there's many ways of doing this; being such an emotional subject I find it's best to acknowledge and move on back into this wonderful happy space you've spent time creating for your special day.
A nicely framed photo of your very special Nan on the signing table for everyone to see is lovely. The will also miss her not being there.
If you'd like to give everyone to take a moment of reflection light a special candle as part of your ceremony in her honor. Have 2 candles for you and your partner lit in the moment by either your celebrant or a close family member maybe your Mum or Dad then you and yourpartner light the larger candle as everyone reflects on their memories of her.
Your Celebrant should be able to guide you through something lovely and deeply heartfelt.
All the best
Should we have signs at our ceremony to leave the front row vacant for immediate family?
I was thinking maybe this is tacky, but then maybe it's necessary. (Or am I really just overthinking it?) Someone suggested that this is the role of the celebrant - to ensure that it's family in the first row. Is that generally true?
Fiona Winwood Marriage Celebrant
Hello bride to be
Most weddings I officite people know the front row is for the family; let family members know they are to sit in the front row. Reserved signs do help or an usher if you have large number of guests if your concerned.
All the best for the big day

Thank you Carly. When all of your guests go to the huge effort of travelling from interstate and overseas for your wedding it's important to get the right balance of fun and seriousness which we nailed! You and Damon did a great job at organising your wedding at Glen Ewin Estate. I was lucky to be part of your dream team.
