How far in advance do I need to book my honeymoon?

Hi Kandice, I would advise booking your honeymoon 12 months out, if that can work for you. Saying that many 'retreats/hotels etc' will let you book in advance without a deposit. You will need to give a date say 6 months out that you will pay the deposit or start making instalments etc. Until that time there should be absolutely no cancelation issues or fees etc but please do give the venue a heads up if you are not going to go there. It is only fair.

It can be from 3 months till 12 months ahead, however for Easter period and New Year at least 6 months in advance to avoid any incovenience.

The best time to start looking into honeymoon options is 12 months in advance. Accommodation and land arrangements can generally be booked then and flights are released approximately 11 months in advance. If you are wanting to book the entire package together (which we recommend) then we normally suggest 10-11 months prior to travel is perfect timing.

We are happy to take reservations up to 12 months in advance. If you are visiting a destination in their peak period then booking further in advance will secure a reservation however generally at least 8 months in advance would be sufficient.
