The best time to start looking into honeymoon options is 12 months in advance. Accommodation and land arrangements can generally be booked then and flights are released approximately 11 months in advance. If you are wanting to book the entire package together (which we recommend) then we normally suggest 10-11 months prior to travel is perfect timing.
Do you have to change your name on your passport before you honeymoon?
How long does it take to change your name and get a new passport? What if your honeymoon is close to the wedding?

No you do not have to change your name on your passport before your honeymoon. You can continue to travel on your current passport until it expires then when it is time to renew change it to your married name.
